Is this anyone's matte yellow wrapped 2nd Gen FX35 here?

Keep the Iridium color and you can wrap the 911. The only time I was seriously considering trading in my 1st gen FX was for the Iridium blue LE.

You guys are too funny! Okay okay I won't wrap the FX. Not to mention that I started to tell my wife about my idea and she shot me down before I could even finish the sentence. "Hey hun I was thinking of wrapping your..." "NO!" haha. Now regarding 911's and Ramen noodles and wraps, I think I might pull the trigger on that. I got a quote of $2100 for the 911 (which is low since the roof is already wrapped). Also I know someone had asked what it would cost to wrap a second generation FX. I received quotes of $2,300 to $2,700. The lower end was when the shop thought they were getting a two-for-one deal. I don't think those numbers are too bad considering it's a big car. I will definitely keep you guys posted.

$23-2700 should be about right for your area. It varies a lot, in SoCal places will do it for under $2K since so much competition. Where I am in GA, everyone wants $3500+ since not a lot of shops do it. I got a quote of $1600 for labor only on my FX (I already have the material). This was from the same shop that wrapped my BMW. This reflected a discount since I've had a lot of work done there. If you do ever get it done, see what their technique is, there are a lot of corners that can be cut. Some places will do everything in multiple pieces which is easier. Some don't tuck the material, they just razorblade it at all seams. See if they use edge sealer which makes a huge difference in life. When inspecting the work, make sure you look under the car and at all areas where there is an edge. Lots of shops cut corners here since you don't see the underbody much, but if the edges start lifting, the vinyl won't last as long.

These guys do a great job

$2300-$2700 is a good price. Most places I have checked have been consistently around the $3000 mark. For the peace of mind of dealing with a shop I know from experience does good work, an extra $300 wouldn't bother me.

I would not deal with anyplace that does not take parts like the bumpers off. Wrapping the edges around to the inside is the correct way and a must for every part where this is possible. I've seen photos of wraps being removed from places that use razor blades around the edges and it pretty much guarantees that your paint will get damaged by the razor blade in more than a few places.

Usually, the bumpers just have to be unbolted from the fenders so they can tuck it in. It's usually better if the bumper stays on the car so they can stretch the vinyl. If it comes off, you can't really get any leverage. But they should separate it from the fenders and headlights so they can tuck the vinyl in. Smaller trim should come off so they can tuck the vinyl into all the seams then put trim back on. I usually use knifeless tape where possible, but sometimes you will need to razor small sections. Always very carefully of course.

I follow both places on instagram ....and got quotes from both of them to wrap my fx ...I wanted black chrome but it gets kinda expensive for the chrome stuff.....the yellow fx I have seen it in person quite a few times around brooklyn it looks good.

Vossen only makes 2 widths in 22. 9 and 10.5" I believe. Those look like 10.5"s because the concavity is more than the 9" width. 9" width looks flatter. And are those caliper covers he's running? I thought maybe they were painted Akebono's, but they look sort of funny.
