Those are Hella DRL strips from iJDMtoy. They fit perfect and have had them on for 2 years with no problem. Bright as all hell too!

Yep, that's where I got mine, but beware, that seller is 100% fraud, like I said. I'd definitely purchase them elsewhere.

You can always attempt to make your own covers and retrofit turn signals in ;) just saying

Yes! Precisely what I did with my G37. Even more of a bitch job though with the precise dremelling needed! :(

You did a great job!! It looks really clean! And I know what you mean by being precise. Takes what seems like forever to get the right cut, but when done, you get a great feeling of accomplishment ;)

My first set was ok, I def took time on my second one.

Where do you think I should put those LED strips lights on my QX?

SLICKKK! Love that thin reflector. You used CF for the cover? What reflector did you use?

I'd go for the same location. I did have to shave (using a jigsaw) some of my bottom grill for them to fit snug though, so keep that in mind.

Nice G37S! My friend just got a 2010 g37XS in gray last tuesday!

Thanks brother. I've done a plethora of work to her. Here's her bio - http://www.myg37.com/forums/members...edan-w-sport-and-technology-package-5246.html

The first set I made using Audi mirror turn signals. They required way too much work, heating up, bending to shape. There is a whole DIY write up in my garage.

Then I came across turn signals for Volvo S40 and those fit almost perfect without any heating up, and bending them to fit. The process of molding the opening took time but I like those much better.

And yes wrapped the mirrors in CF to match the roof and lower rear bumper piece.

So badass. You did what I did on my G then, just dremelled out the pattern carefully on OEM covers? The biggest PITA was wiring through that pivot head with all the other power wires. Ugh I still have nightmares about it all. So much work for such a relatively simple mod.

Thank You. Exactly, dremelled the opening, slightly smaller to have room to work when sanding down, then applied some body filler, blended in, painted and wrapped in CF. Getting the perfect shape is the most time consuming.
And people think it's so easy to cut, fit and hook up lol. Wires were driving me nuts trying to squeeze them through. Things we do lol

No Im not gnna cut and bend and etc my mirrors lol. Im not about that life, i'll just buy a piece online lol
