Wait what, front and rear lines plus fluid for that price? If so that's an awesome deal.

You will need the shortened banjo bolts for Akebono calipers to work with those ss lines.

Have these in my fx for a few months now. Great upgrade. Wish this deal was around a few months ago lol. People jump on this!

I'm interested, but how does this bolt up to an FX50S? with the akebono calipers? Through the stock hardlines or it goes from the hard lines to the caliper directly using a banjo bolt? Pics would be great if you could show the actual lines.

I thought the bolts that come with the Stoptech SS lines don't need to be cut. According to turbocad "using the bolts from the stop tech line kit, anyone can do this.there short enough that they don't even need to be cut, just ream the tip slightly.. if you can't do this then have whoever is installing them do it, or anyone who owns a drill" https://www.infinitiscene.com/search/1/?q=2451-G37-FX50-Akebono-Brake-Retrofit/page16

So basically if I had to use the banjo bolt, I would remove the hardlines between the caliper and the flex hose? And put the stop tech lines in? Hrm, I'm wondering if its worth it since the FX50S setup is already hardlines to the most part...

What's interesting enough is that when I called a place locally that sells the stoptech lines, there was two variations of the lines. They don't list them on the website but if you speak to stoptech or a reseller that knows their stuff, they will ask you what calipers you will be using, stock or stoptech calipers. If you'll be using stock calipers, they'll give you the kit with 20mm banjo bolts, if you'll be using their stoptech calipers, they'll give you the shorter banjo bolts that are 18.74mm. I know its a small difference but when I did my akebono fronts on my 1st gen, the shorter banjo bolts worked for me.

I tried to install a set of Akebono caliper onto Rip's ride using shortened banjo bolt Zebra made with the stock line. From the look of those Stoptech SS lines, you definitely need to shorten the banjo bolt to fit properly. Since we're on the topic, take a look of the stock brake of Rip's ride. This the front brake line of a 2013 FX37. I wonder why all the clunky joints on the rubber line. Looks like they use the joints as anchor to bolt it to the strut housing.

If using the the Stoptech SS lines, I guess you'll go from the hard line by the frame to the caliper and plug the both ends of the hard lines on the knuckle. I didn't look to see if the hard line can easily be removed with if not use.
