I don't love it on the FX. I think it's awesome on the 350Z w/ an aggressive body kit. I like it less on the G35 because it's too aggressive. On the FX, it looks somewhat out of place. Sort of like putting canards on the front. But I commend the custom work and quality.
 
So is this a z diffuser bolted to your FX? It's ok. Honestly I think we are entering the bolting-things-on-now-its-"custom" territory
 
i may get banned for this post, but why doesn't someone make an exhaust that has some throat to it??? Like a muscle car? I had a 92 chevy z24..don;t laugh too hard, that sounded so throaghty and tight!!! (not saying that the z was a muscle car by any means.,,.,lol
 
Trust me this exhaust is plenty throaty, best mod I've done on the fx
 
@mak06053: The sound of the exhaust has limits, we can only refine as much as we can before the engine limits us from doing so. For example a V8 will sound extremely different from an i4. It is extremely hard to create a "throaty" sound from an i4. The VQ luckily has some throatiness to it and thus we are able to make a throaty sound but it will never sound like a muscle V8.
 
I'm heading up to Chicago this weekend, if I see ( and hear) Rips fx driving around it'll be like seeing a celebrity lol.
 
I really wouldn't want my Japanese car to sound like an American muscle car
 
I know its late but for everyone commenting on Lerry's diffuser the things on the side are called vortex diffusers. And yes they are supposed to be aerodynamic.
 
Haha I don't think I have vortex diffusers...mine's more for look than function, there probably is some function but I have to be honest I think its pretty useless in that department
