For the FX37's, we would have to test fit it once again on it but it should work just fine, the chassis didn't change just the motor. I would think it bolts right up since the G37 exhaust fits the FX (minus the tips).

I have an awd 37 and the ark exhaust fit fine. My only issue is that the passenger side exhaust tip hangs out a little further than the drivers side. Awesome sound.

Its a diffuser, some diffusers can help with aerodynamics but its mainly for looks.

Supposedly, it's to channel the wind current on the side of the car backward and reduce the back drag. Sorry, I don't know the technical term for it.
