Quick update *
yesterday I had my phone plugged in to charge and it worked!
turns out it'll connect after about a minute or so . It not perfect but I think I can deal with it .... Just leave the cable plugged in for awhile and it'll eventually work lol

Thanks. Do you get the digital information about Pandora now?
I have been trying to get the title of the currently playing item to displayon the NAV system, and cannot.
I have iphone 4, 4s and 5; all on OS 6.1.2 and use the charger cable that came with the unit to connect to the system.

Sorry for the late reply. CableJive actually emailed me and sent me a new one which i tested today.... Same issues but it seems like itll connect a bit faster now..... about 30sec instead of a minute. As for the pandora digital information it doesnt show up initially but once everything is connected and playing I can unplug the cable and replug it back in and the digital information will show up for the rest of duration im in the car.
This is the display when playing on pandora after i unplug and replug it in.

This is an update to an old post but I have the same setup and noticed yesterday if I have the music app running on my iPhone before I plug it into the car, it gets recognized immediately.

Are you able to play Pandora tracks through the "iphone" kit? I am unable to play any pandora. Does anyone have a solution?
thanks in advance

it seems like the first time you connect a new phone or device to it , it takes a few minutes to connect or register the device... my suggestion is to plug in the iphone and get the audio working with your regular itunes music and after you do that, unplug the iphone and load up pandora and have the pandora track already playing.... and then connect it back to the iphone cable. see if that works.

It is rumored that it will be released September 20th in the US with a new prelaunch focus on Japan and India.

Available in silver/white, black and champagne gold, the gold is targeted at the Asian and the Indian populace.

Lots of conjecture regarding new/unique functional aspects. Pretty sure we'll get a solid camera with duel LED flash, a faster processor, and possibly fingerprint recognition.

Again many details, lots of leaks, much hype.

What phone are you running Stu?

Detour - I was researching phones for my product dev team and came across the Nokia camera/phone, killer camera, PITA phone. My teams use their cameras all the time when market shopping, approving T samples, etc. Images are so much more effective in communication than shouting and waving your hands to describe a product.

iPhone 5 with the cracked screen and broken power button mod. I don't know if I'll get another since this one didn't even make it a year before something broke. The button was giving me issues before the screen cracked, but they wouldn't replace it since that couldn't be proven. I knew someone who almost got a job at the Apple store and they also knew my button was being finicky and saw the screen wasn't cracked, so I wondered if they could have been like hey I saw it messing up and the screen was fine, if they ended up working there.

ATT doesn't really have any good Androids though, and I don't want the hipster Samsung. It's big and felt laggy to me.

Cracked screen AND broken button mod? You have got to get a regular job and drop the stunt double stuff. New phone is supposed to be more durable, something about the additional integrity of the liquid metal back and its ability to absorb corner and side impacts minimizing screen breakage.......

Hype.

Wait to see what it is about before you replace, then move to Seattle.

Did they actually start using liquid metal finally? I remember a couple years ago their only use was the little pin for popping out the sim card. Revolutionary.

I use my phone to track my riding so it gets jostled around a lot. I'm sure this didn't help any with the button issues. Good thing is I can get a replacement for $200ish. Oh the camera stopped working also, but that's software related I think (hope).
