Why not? Just keep the brake on. It would be the same thing as launching normally, but now you don't have to guess at the target RPM, and you can be full throttle from the start.

The stall speed of the torque converter, for one thing. The fact that its lower than the torque peak means that this "launch control" couldn't possibly help. Not only that, but normally you only have to release the brake (you can still floor the throttle). Adding a step is the opposite of what you want to do in that situation.
 
Uprev has a gauge, but isn't the stock sensor narrow band?

I was told that for the g35/350z that 03-04s are narrow band but uprev's software could make a very educated guess. 04.5+ are wide bands.

I would assume the info should apply to the fx as well. But don't quote me tho. It was a conversation I had with a tuner.

Also I know a guy who can get u a deal cheaper then what uprev posts on their site.

Oh yeah, I forgot you have a G. I believe all 1st gen FXs have narrow band sensors from the factory.
