Go to a V8

I say get it if the itch is strong and it does sound like it is! But I recommend you wait for the color/combo you exactly want and don't settle for the impulse buy as most likely you will regret it later.
 
Agreed with what the others say. I would wait and find the exact one you want. Once I drove a 50 I didn't like mine much either but I didn't want to be upside down with payments or anything. Have you looked into the 2010's ?? You can get one with all options and low miles ( under 15k ) for around low $40's.

That's why this one interested me, I was only going to pay 6 or 7000 difference and it only has just over 12000 miles on it. But I have decided to wait for the right color combo as the others have suggested, and I would go for a 09 or 10

I would also wait. Yours 35 is sooo nice. Get something you're gonna love as a whole package.
 
Hahaha Wayne, we Chicago crews surely got you looking into a V8, didn't we? Agreed with what other have said; wait for the color combo that you like.
 
I guess I'm late to the party. Yes, wait for not just the right color combo, but the perfect color combo. I did, and am
happy I did every day. U see how happy Andrew Hues and I are about our FXs and part of that is because it's out perfect combo that we waited for to come by us one day.

Wait for the color combination you want........you love the gen II style and ride, you are going to love the 50.....
 
When I did a back to back test of my 09 FX35 and the 09 FX50S I felt the big difference in the bottom end, it really set me back, but at highway speeds the difference was not as noticeable and of course the sound of a V8 is always nice.
 
Now imagine all that V8 power going only to the rear wheels on a lighter car...(cough M45 cough)..

Jeff I know exactly what you mean. A friend of mine bought a new M45 Sport a few years ago. I dove it a few times and I was certainly impressed. That car would haul butt. I loved that car.

Ooh, that color combo is my favorite! That's what color my G37 is and I would've gotten it on my FX if it were (1) available and (2) I didn't already have the G.
