Beauty and the Beast up in Castleton, VT. 94 land cruiser ;-)

Are you using HIDs for your fogs or bulbs?

I am thinking of ordering Nokya Yellows but don't know how yellow they are really gonna be.

^ I had the nokyas, they are yellow but not the deepest yellow. The bulbs that I use are Putco Jet yellow 3000k bulbs and they are the deepest yellow bulbs I can find and I love them.e1e5dcd587d3a72e3071f14bf7ff6d62.jpg

I am using morimoto HIDS, they start out green when first turned on and warm up to the nice yellow you see.

I had HIDS in my fogs and didn't see any visibility improvement. 6000k ones. Now I wanna do yellow but not sure if I want HIDS. Current ones burned out after only a couple months. They were the cheap ebay ones tho, paid maybe 50$ For them

Thanks for that, I'll look into those Putco ones. I love the look, more so than 6000k HIDs I had.

I have had the Putco's for 3 years now with no problems. I had 6000k HID's before and they burned out in 6 months.

Maybe I've just been lucky, or it's because I actually bought a non-ebay set of HID's, but my morimoto ballasts have now been going for 2.5 years, I changed my bulbs from 6000k to 3000k, but that was only from personal preference not because the bulbs burnt.

Same here, no burn out issues with my morimoto fogs. I had one 6000k headlight burn out prematurely and they swapped for free.
