Put some air in my rear driver-side tire.
What went wrong with your FX today?

Engine mount might be busted or going bad. Upon flooring on the freeway, i hear a bump or the engine moving as soon as i floor it. This is going to be the 5th engine mount in 8 years. Now if i can find which side the dealer replaced a while ago, i might still be in 1 year repair warranty.
Are they checking ALL of the mounts (engine+trans) each time? Is it the same mount that keeps breaking? Seems extremely excessive for wear on a mount...
I know in 8 years both sides have gone bad. But i dont know which side has been repaired more. Maybe visiting service they might know from records. Also last time i said i think my tranny mount might be going bad they ended up changing my rear subframe (which was absolutely useless, didnt fix the thumping sound)
There has to be a reason your FX is chewing through mounts 2.5 times faster than everyone else.

Don't know... It just died on me, I mean it starts but then it shuts off. I'm stuck in a parking lot waiting for the tow truck...
Had to bring in the FX to dealer yesterday due to a Airbag flashing light for the past week, tried to clear it with the sequencing which was previously posted...it worked but flashing came back when ever car was restarted. Dealer found Air bag control unit failed...so they replaced it, also had the ECU reprogrammed due to sudden dipping of rpm when trans upshifting always in the same gear for the past month, reprogram somewhat fixed it definitely better than before. Hope it holds LOL

Yeah, i was thinking prob. something wrong with the spark plugs. Anyway I'll have to wait till tomorrow and see what the mechanic says.

It won't cost him anything since it's still under warranty.

Had my coolant hose and clamp replaced two weeks ago under warranty by the dealer only to find out today the other side of the hose is leaking because another clamp failed. Oh well I'm getting brakes changed next week too.

with labor and parts it should be around 190. I'm not doing any resurfacing though for 2 reasons:
1. I may upgrade to a BBK this spring
2. My rotors arent warped
I just need new pads right now because I've got down to the noise indicators already. The brakes make a metal on metal grinding noise while driving now and stopping distance is very very poor. 43K miles on pads is not too bad at all.
^^ 43k is really good imo. Mine maybe would of lasted 35k .. ? I brake hard everywhere so they go quick. So your going with the bbk ?? fronts & rears or just fronts ?
I've been wanting to do the bbk so bad but after dropping $1500ish on tires and just bought spacers from B2autodesigns I'm kinda tied up at the moment. See if the company your buying them from will do a deal if we buy 2 sets :smile (2): ... if so I may be interested

almost pulled the trigger on the BBK today dealer almost talked me into it, lol I will eventually do this maybe in the next few weeks as I am in need of brakes soon!

I think my brakes went out fast because I have the distance control assist on every time I'm in the car. It constantly applies the brakes so it must be making the pads wear fast. I don't brake too much myself though.
