I messaged Rick at perry Infiniti and he quoted me $124 plus free shipping. He also said it's a direct fit to the stock shifter. No modding or anything like that. I think I'm gonna bite and order one!

You like it Aaron? I like the original one a lot more....to me it has more elegant style instead of just leather. This shifter looks just like my old mustang shifter. Just leather and stitching.

I actually like it a little more than the one that came on the FX. My shifter has scratches over the top on the silver trim from rings scratching it. Don't know who did it probably the previous owner:mask:

If I don't like the shifter I always have the option of returning it.

If one of you guys go through with this let me know because I'll buy your stock shift knob from your FX if its in good condition.
Mines scratched up from the previous owner :mad.:

As hate wheat since day one. I finished putting a leather cover to the steering wheel.
This is really true. My wheat knob is getting ugly as days pass. Can someone tell me how are taking care yours?

dude i've been wanting one for the longest time, do it! i might do it with you, two person group buy?

Want me to ask him about getting a group buy going? I'll do it if some others are interested too. I haven't pulled the trigger on it yet so let me ask!

k sent him a PM to the link of this thread. Let's see!

I spoke to Rick and he says that prices are already pretty cheap where their at. That and the fact that I'm in a hurry to get mine so I placed my order today!! :D I will post pictures when installed.

I have the m45s shifter that looks the same as that, I put it on but liked the look of our stock shifter so I took it off again (It's now sitting in a box in my shop)

You are correct the M45S stitching does have the zig-zag stitching, (which I actually prefer over the straight stitching lol )

Here is a pic of the one I installed on my ride:

My shift knob is not wheat but black. Mine was also all scratched up. At first I thought the silver part was paint but upon removal I discovered it was actually alluminum. I sanded down all the scratches until it was smooth but I decided I wanted a brushed alluminim look. So i went to a rougher grade sand paper. I cleaned it and sprayed a few coats of clear. I did not wet sand it since I didnt want it to look like plastic. I wanted to retain the look of the brushed alluminum. So clear plus a little polishing and the results are below.
