Where do you put your cell?

I'm surprised at the responses because I leave mine in my pocket all the time....it never comes out...just like my keys never come out.

Because I can use the phone from my steering wheel or voice, as well as, all my music from my iPod classic already in the car.

Ahh the perks of all the new technology! Wish I at least had the tech package.

I have an HTC evo and there's no way it'll fit in my pocket. I drive too aggressively for the phone to stay planted on my thigh or on my lap... I see there's a lot of seat and cupholder guys in there. I'm not alone. If I have GPS running on the phone, it lays horizontally in front of the nav screen (i don't have factory nav).

In the cup holder or sometimes in that little compartment next to ac port in the dash. It'll fit snug diagonally in that little compartment.

Wallet and iPhone are always in my man-bag/murse lol... along with my iPad, keys, and gum.

I have a samsung infuze and I have this Igrip mount and used an adapter that has double faced tape and mounted mine to the left of the clock on the dash facing me while driving. It is a little low but i can see it fine and it works great for charging. They make them for all kinds of phones just google igrip phone mounts. I highly recommend it. I am out of town and when I get back I will post a pic.

Here are some pics of how and where I mounted my phone mount. It works great for me and does not get in the way, I know it looks like your knee would hit it but it doesn't, Im 6-1 and have no problems. I also have a beltronics RX65 radar detector and have it mounted above and have a wired remote that allows me to turn the alarm on or off or adjust the volume. This way i can turn the lights off of my detector up top and don't get people bird dogging me and riding my ass on the freeway. Just thought I would throw it in there for your guys.

Glad you brought that up JD. Does anyone else feel the quality of the OEM hands free microphone has a lot to be desired? I got so many complaints that I disconnected it.

Interesting mount location. Does it work just as well as far as you can tell? Mine is about 4 inches lower, right next to the mirror and just under the tint strip. I like having it right by the mirror since it's a natural spot for me to look. I really like where you mounted the remote.

That's the beauty of the wired remote. You don't have to look at the radar detector because the lights are off. There is a light on the remote and a button to hit to turn it off. Passport also makes one, alot of people don't know but beltronics and passport are the same company. Cincinnati milicron. Im from cinci originally and have been there many times. I think the beltronics rx65 is not only better than the passport but probably the best on the market imo.

HTC Thunderbolt with iGrip holder. It charges the phone at the same time and automatically puts it into car mode....but I like the Vlingo App for the car a lot more. Above the holder is my microphone for my Parrot 3200. Before this, it was cupholder with my wallet, or on passenger seat. I hate the fact this car has no place to really put a cell phone. I couldn't take it anymore and bought 2 of these holders on sale at verizon for $7 each.

No issues with the microphone at all...in fact, I'm surprised how well it works. Maybe they upgraded in 2009+?

I agree with Jonas 100%, the I-key and phone never leave my pocket

bluetooth

I think we are all hands free Bluetooth but its hard to read or send a text with the phone in your pocket. Atleast for me it is.:smile (2):
