The Random Question Thread

Anyone know of any aftermarket calipers that would bolt up to an 08 FX rotor? I got my cross drilled and slotted rotors on and the calipers look so stock its killing me.

I seen a guy driving a G with those on. He had rims on it, big ones, I then noticed the fake Brembos and almost busted out in laughter. Have some dignity, don't pimp out your ride.

There are also these but not for an 08 FX.

I was going to do the Akebono mod when I got the rotors but the guy I was going to buy them from sold them before I could get them.

But I do have a new question to ask you guys!! I have a (-2.1) left and -2.5 (right) camber on the rear of the car after installing the coilovers and letting them settle. I was wondering if these could fix that seeing as how I just cant really figure an easy way of just adjusting the coilovers in the rear.

They say they go +/- 3.00 so I'm assuming I can adjust within that? I just want to get it back to factory as im already seeing some tire wear in the inside of the tire.

Im thinking about pulling the trigger on a set of 22inch forgestar f14 rims and tires for only $850. Nexen tires have about 80 percent tread left. Should I do it? These wheels are usually really expensive right? One rim has a little rash maybe the size of a quarter in length. All rims are matte black.

Is this the same as spc camber kit?

Sounds like a good deal as long as their not bent / damaged

I have marek's led rings on headlamps and because of hit on the lamps, 3 leds stop working. Is it possible to change these 3 leds or I would have to buy a new ring? I've also try to contact customdesignz but no answer till now. Thanx for help.

So my shift knob (not on a FX) won't come off. Its just a simple lefty loosely, righty tighty, but the threaded plastic insert inside the shift knob is seized and only the outside leather shell is spinning, forever. I've used some large pliers in an attempt to squish and unseize the insert with no luck. Did some searching and realized this is a common problem on the miata, where people ended up going surgical and cutting the knob.

Does anyone have suggestions before i go surgical? The knob is an "oem+" add-on so i don't want to destroy it just yet.

Thanks!
