The Random Question Thread

You decided to get your Nismo installed? Not waiting until December anymore? :rotfl:

Are 35W HID lights too hot for our OEM fog light housings? Because both of mine have a crack in them.
Yes, it could be from a rock.. but they both appeared a little over a week after installing my HID fogs.

I've been on hid fogs for 3 years also. I switch between yellow and 5k depending on the time of year.

all the commenters above including me have the old 9006 hid unit, 06+different housings. This might be a factor or a coincidence

Did you drive through any rain/water recently after they were on for awhile? Maybe the housings heated up, and then cracked when colder water touched them.

Does my 2009 FX50S with Tech etc have automatic body ride height (level) adjustment and/or headlight level adjustment?

automatic body ride height (level) adjustment - No, the suspension does not raise or lower the FX.
headlight level adjustment - Yes, you have the adaptive lights, which go up and down (left and right as well) depending on the degree angel the FX is in, so if the FX is going downhill it will angle up and vice versa. I see it do this all the time and it's pretty awesome.

Fml.. it rained like crazy the whole week here in Houston. That's prolly why.

I know I've blown out bulbs before from driving through water that splashed up on the Tahoe.

I had briefly talked to Ed about this and he gave an answer I forgot and hope he will chime in again. when my AC is on the circulation? Mode there is a knocking sound coming from the passenger side air bag. When I attempted to get a quote over the phone from the speakership they said upwards of $500. Anyone know or have had this? They said it was common in the Qs

I think it's just the blower motor behind the glove box where the cabin air filter is. I have heard of that sound before too. I thought it was normal operating procedure.
