The Random Question Thread

No don't shave due to the fact you might shave off the pins that guide/hold the emblem in place. Simply use a heat gun and heat up the two tab points and push on the pin with a handle of a screwdriver.

Ahh, good point :top:

okay so I installed the ichiba spacers 27mm back and 25mm front. It looks incredible! I love the look but.... the steering wheel shakes a lot at 40ish mph to like 65mph. I didnt wanna go faster than that on the highway because I thought wheels were gonna fall off lol. I even got an alignment done after I got the spacers installed. It still shakes a lot. Any help?

Retorque your spacers maybe they are loose.

I just have to make them tighter right? or would I need a torque rench and torque it to a specific lbs or something?

The shaking just started as soon as I put the spacers on so I am guessing it has to do with the spacers.

80lbs should do it, get a torque wrench! harborfreight.com get a 1/2 inch head

Instead of just tightening what is probably already somewhat tight, loosen them and re-seat them making sure they're flat. Be sure to tighten them incrementally in a star pattern. I know this is a little elementary, but more important than a specific torque value.

^Good advice.

Didn't know where to put this, but I washed my fx today and I noticed that on my trim on the rear passenger side has a wrinkle on it as if its vinyl. Do any of yall have this??

I have a little one and some others do too. There was a discussion somewhere about it. The discussion ties in with the window molding cracks.

There was a discussion a while ago about some people actually having chrome trim under there. That does to be an overlay of some sort. Give it a tug on a corner and see what's under there.
