I started disassembly of the interior. Glue arrived today. Carbon Fiber wrap is supposed to be here soon. Ill add pics of my progress. I have never wrapped anything, ever :) so we will see how it goes. Disassembly was pretty easy. going to take the vents and radio controls apart from the faceplate tonight

I used a door trim removal tool but it's basically a curved screw driver. The vent pops out. Just be gentle with it

Progress-disassembled more and cleaned

I don't like the 06 one. I'm wrapping old one in CF that's the plan anyway

I saw online someone used a 350z shift ring and boot on a g35-wonder if that would fit our FX

Order got messed up :-(. No dinoc yet so I did the headliner while I waited! Upset about my eBay order. I used someone with perfect reviews and ratings but no luck yet

Yep this is a test piece. The edges are tough!
Hope to improve quickly

Painted the shift panel obviously :-). Couldn't wrap it.

In 1 week I got the interior color change, suede headliner, and 3m wrap done all DIY all while working 6 days a week! Now for some rest

I didnt end up with enough wrap :( I have a piece left that may fit but I have to make sure the grain/design is going the same way. If i do it will cover up a few words but I do not need the words. I know where everything is :) and I dont plan to sell the car

You can use a DYMO printer and reprint the labels for the radio controls. That's what I did after I CFed mine. Also for the edges use a heat gun to strerch the cf and give a nice finish. This material has amazing stretching quality and will look a lot more fitted.

Adam, got any pics on the DYMO labels?

Andy, here is one, It's not exactly the same size of the font, but close enough imo.

I need to redo the radio bezel cf this weekend, it shrunk in one place due to heat and me over cutting it months ago to make it fit, so will be redoing the labels again. For those of you who have black CF DYMO also makes clear tape with white fonts so it can literally be applied onto any surface.
