Just wanted to share with rest of you my little project I just started on the interior of my FX. Like some of you on here, I swapped the dull gear plate with the chrome one, made my own boot to match the brick interior.

The second part is to wrap some of the interior parts with silver carbon fiber. First I covered the center console, which had a couple of nicks and seemed just plain.
To kind of continue the effect I also took apart the front bezel of the nav system and wrapped it in CF too. Over the weekend I will finish door handles and window switches to finalize the effect.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks

I think I've seen you in Hollywood many times.

My company is in the hear of Hollywood.

Looks good.

Cool where at? I'm on Highland and Melrose.

Yeah you can't miss that color or be less visible lol. Although there is one like it a street down from me too. But doubt the owner is into his FX or so.

I got mine 2 months ago.

That looks good man. Nice and clean look.

Thats silver carbon?

Thanks bro!

Yup silver carbon, high grade, not one of those look alike imitation tapes. Very adaptive to heating and molding.

Wow, you don't stop do you? Nice mod progression! I like the silver carbon fiber a lot! I would really consider doing this myself now I see its lighter!

Ha ha, yeah I am in the zone with that now. It really compliments the interior now.

So here is a couple more. I finished the side AC vents today. I think, for now, that's all I will do, I don't want to over do it.

Also here is some tools you might need if considering the project yourself. All it takes is just a heat gun, a really sharp scalpel or exacto knife, scissors and cf film. Take your time, don't rush it, especially on the round corners.

Apply the film, then trim it around leaving a bit of a slack to wrap it around.
