Grocery Getter :: 2006 Infiniti fx35 awd

Thanks to Soon's tutelage, we started the B-Quiet application to my FX last night. Man alive, it's labor intensive! Although I loved the way the Soon's GG sounds incabin now. This is a must do mod for sure!

proud of you man, good work!

That combined with the bullet proof glass and you will have THE full-on luxury ride.

wonder if I can replace the glass with some CLEAR plexi cuts, 1.5 depth should be somewhat bulletproof of a 9mm at 25ft or less. :wink (2):

Good call on the plexi, it works at the check cashing places. You really need to protect "the goods" on your whole foods runs.

almost forgot to update, removed all the dampening material from the fiberglass hatch and keep the cover as is. hatch still requires some extra lifting, cleared ~.9 lbs wasn't too helpful yet. might have to dig in some more weight reduction from the hatch area.

Yet again, another Saturday another deadening section. Trunk started at 2:30pm and completed by 10:30pm (9 PITA hrs), worked my butt off on this one. Disassembling was very time consuming. Pics below:

started the deadening the spare tire exposed area.

Test drove it and road noise is soften. Bose bass is sure a HUGE improvement after the trunk is deadened, kicks and solid!.
Overall, given all the pain with fingers and back, it's well worth it.

Big thanks again to Turbocad for allowing me to use his shop spot and some disassembling/reassembling. :smile (2):

Thanks to Pman for building the Bass Booster Unit, installed it and working. I can't tell much in difference yet, would like to see of I can add some sound deadening materials inside

Newbie to youtube's policy and had to correct the copyright of a soundtrack used prior. Should be good now since I did snip-its of a remix.

Hey SOONSTER, nice meeting you last night Bro, I looked in the Motodyne Plenum spacer , I looked up this from there web site but it doesn't list for the FX34/45, Also what thickness should i go for?

Thanks

Cool video. I can't believe how narrow those lanes are. I was out there a few years ago and all I could thin about was how many side mirrors gets snapped off day to day.
