Makes sense, explains why there's two of them
Yeah, I have clean mine two or three since I put this DIY together. Each I take them sensors out, there just a light faint coating on the leads. I rub it with an eraser, put it back and voila, it work beautifully again and then gradually less and less accurate.fooked up thing though is that even fully replacing is still only a temporary fix, I replaced both of mine when I first got my fx and like a little over a year later it started acting screwy again..., andy, are you saying you've cleaned yours several times and each time it lasts less time?
I believe the quality of fuel this contributes to this issue as well.
try shell. u feel slight difference in power and better gas mileage. i noticed it when i did the switch from sunoco 94 to shell v power
im guessing this applies to the 45 as well? my gas gauge has been inaccurate now for a while, I can go from having half a tank to being empty. im hoping to do this DIY sometime this week. with regards to the fuel line discharging fuel and disconnecting the electrical connector, should this be a big concern?
