Widebody Stealth FX v3.0

Are you referring to the Roberuta cup kit? That should just sit right on top of your coilover and give you a little lift for speed bumps and curbs. It shouldn't effect your normal drive.

How would airbags not give you side to side stability? There's still a strut in there and you should still have damping. The airbag shouldn't be subject to much lateral load. I've always thought that air ride systems rode horribly, but mostly because of the way air springs work and damping (lower you go, the softer it is), not because there wasn't lateral support although I've heard they've gotten much better.

Guys i Triple checked it with the manufacture and it seems that you cannot drive Both the Drop or Lift kit i both heights continously.
I don't understand though cause one set is continously empty and the other one continously full.
At a certain point i talked to a tech guy in germany and said it could but eventually talking trough the importer here who spoke with the boss it couldn't.
Pitty though.......

The is another system called Roberuta from Japan who does the same.....but it think with air.....but no Bag more like a sleeved metal piston on air.
Thing with air is IMO you just do not have that side way stability what a spring gives you. Think of skippy ball and you sitting on it........if you driven both like i did you know what i mean..........

Bert little question.......are your front wheel wells out on these pics......

that's the biggest problem with air. by the time the car is low enough to look good the effective spring rate is down to marsh mellow territory :) it doesn't have to be like that, but will with most if not all "kits" your going to find. the right way to do an air suspension is to make it that at the desired ride height the bags are close to fully inflated, not easy to do & def take custom work not a bolt on "kit"...

That is what i ment. Unfortunalty my technical english isn't that good sometimes to explain myself that well.....sorry guys.
Point is with airride system.....here a lot of guys buy it to get over speed bumps etc.....but they often need to get higher then the normal ride height to get over them so therefor often don't ride on a fully inflated bag.

The roberuta kit is indeed mounted on top of a coilover set and would be a good alternative IMO.

Berto what i ment was you inner wheel wels. When looking at pictures taken from te side i can look trough your well and also look trough your bumper. So there doesn;t seem to be any plastic there anymore.

I think this might be an alternative instead of using air bags.

Not a big fan of airbags since you have to sacrifice in performance when driving like a mad man like me. LOL...

I need the FX to handle well.

With respect to the wheel wells, you are correct Ray. I took them off for the trip since the original molded inner wheel wheels had to be changed because of the new bumper.

Plan on having the rest be installed when the FX comes back from Chicago.

Yeah roberuta would be a great solution. I think there is a company in the us who offers the kit as the company itself in japan is hardly to communicate with....believe me i.ve tried.
The inner wells i thought so that they.would need some tweaking haha. Just the Final details

Bert, showing off. Very nice.
You had the perfect excuse to get your camera low on the ground and take some shots upward! Any more pics?

Bert, that sure is one nice looking parking assistant system. Sweet.

Did I forgot to tell you that those DTRL LED and the lip is perfect?:laugh:

Long story short... My FX was in and out of the shop for a few years getting audio/video work done. My mistake was doing business with friends. The shop owner bit off more then he could chew so my custom work got pushed back because of the day-to-day work. I lost hope of having a bad ass FX. Now that i have my car back i hate my wheels, hate not being slammed to the ground, and hate not having a body kit. I don't know any body shops here in Houston that can make it happen and i'm scared to put my car in a shop again for a big project because it might take forever.
For now i'm only gonna do what i can in my garage so that i know i'll have my car to enjoy. Saving up for some rims and about to start working on my air suspension.
Looking at your car gives me hope and inspiration again man. Shit is seriously sick.
I just wish there was a body kit that i could order that didn't come from out of the county and cost a shit load of $$$$$.

I sent a PM too... don't worry Humberto, not related to what I think you're sending him. I think there is another body kit available, but I haven't done my research.
