hi guys
So, long story short, i have an 2010 fx35 awd. About a few months ago, i took my car to the dealer, and told them how i fell vibaration on steering wheel when the car is idle. They took my car in, after an hour or so, the service advisor came out and told me, the tech was unable to fell any abnormal vibration, but he found a TSB, which is TSB 10-042, and he reprogrammed the car's ECU to DE97AA HD 32. 0.3 HR. While driving home, i felt the car became much quieter when accelerating, but i also felt a little lack of power compared to how it was before. (vibration on steering wheel still exists)
Anyways, i did a few 0-60 tests on DS mode with floored gas, up shifts in red line. i was shocked with the results, its takes 9.5 SECONDS. (around 9000 miles current reading, 9/10 tank of gas, fresh mobil 1 5-30w, normal tire pressure)
I looked up the TSB 10-042 online, it is actually for:
• Engine hesitation at idle or very low speeds.
• Engine speed drops lower than expected when decelerating or coming to a stop.
I have never had these two problems, i seriously have no idea why the dealer think this would address the vibration on steering wheel.
Going to the dealer tmr, can any of u plz tell me if it is the ECU reprogram that slowed my car, or its irrelevant. Thanks.
