I guess this is why you don't park on the street...

Philly, points taken, but a little harsh man. Definitely speak your mind, but felt like you were bashing him directly in this post.

I personally never assume the financial situation of anyone, none of my business.

This is typical...super expensive cars driven by folks that live in tiny homes or garden apartments then complain when something happens to it. Seems like the problem isn't so much the dinged mirror as much as a "prioritization" of what's important...sell the car to help with a downpayment on a home with a garage in a nicer neighborhood where dickweeds like the guy who hit you don't live.

That's good! A ride that awesome belongs in the driveway or a garage

I can't wait. The housing market here has very little to offer. Everything is either old (OLD!!) and run down, oversized for what I need, or in subdivisions on postage stamps. Finally found a good spot after 2 years. Right in town, acre and a half landscaped lot with a pool. Bring on the summer!!

Summer? What's that. Damn you Chicago weather.

I think we're skipping summer and going straight to winter.

I hear you man, we've had about 2 sold months of rain here. By this time last year I put a few thousand Km on my R6, this year, more like 100.

Hmm.. I don't have a house and I live in a condo in Chicago and have just one parking spot.. Care to analyze my financial situation and net worth?

And those dickweeds live everywhere.. Rich ones are even more of pain in the ass because they have money and connections to get out of citations or have their records wiped.

Ed, man I had to break out my winter coat at 5 am this morning while walking my dog...:mad.:

Ha, yeah at 5 AM it was cold. Good thing I just open the door and let my dog go out in the yard.

When I was in a condo before, I bought a pet-a-potty for the winter -- that's how lazy I was.

Was taken at a friends house.. But I do have properties in the burbs as well.

I don't think a pet-a-potty would work for a dobermann pincher.. He would probably look at me and say WTF is this? Plus he needs a ton of exercise and training.. If dobes don't get stimulation, they will destroy everything you hold dear.

If I had a choice I wouldn't either...I live in an apartment downtown with no parking available. Small town with very few housing options available. Moving into a house in July though

A few years back I lived in an apartment....it was a nice area and cars were always stolen. Apartment locations where highways are nearby are especially high traffic for stolen cars in my opinion. My apartment complex didn't even have a spot to wash the car, so I just held off from buying my new car....oh and when I would park in the car port, the as* holes next to me would ding my car many times and the car in front of me would drive until it would touch my bumper.....idiot put two holes in my front bumper from the license plate and even after talking with him he still constantly bumped me sometimes...was an older guy or maybe his wife.

When I got my home with garage and a way to wash my car anytime I want....I got the car! :)

when you have a nice car like that at an apartment complex, you just gotta take extra precautions...that's all. Alarm with gps is a must imo.

I overnight parked my 06FX on the street once and it was stolen. Next time I'll remember to take the keys with me :err:

You left those keys on purpose didn't you.....you just wanted a 09FX! LOL

I can tell you have Viper SmartStart on your mind:rofl:

Even a dumb feature to update your location via Facebook... but heck it is 2011.

 And I don't like people knowing where I live.

Ian, I'm up for a Dim Sum meet as soon as you got your rims.

Yep for sure... I was hoping to have these on before I go to Dallas end of next week, but doesn't look like it will happen..:mad.:
