This little car is crazy unbelievable. I must have missed or forgotten about the headlight mods. Looking great!
Realizing that projects like this are never really 'done', is there anything left on your immediate list?

Thanks y'all - yeah, she's had a lot of work.

This little car is crazy unbelievable. I must have missed or forgotten about the headlight mods. Looking great! Realizing that projects like this are never really 'done', is there anything left on your immediate list?

I feel close to being finished. Still want to add aftermarket EMS and maybe another brace or two - planning on a STB that is compatible with the supercharger kit, plus fender braces that have a great fan base. Then on the list there are some show wheels, maybe a real track upgrade on the suspension (thinking Xidas) and an aluminum radiator. Still need to weld in the PLX O2 sensor bung. Thinking about a splitter or a lip as well. I guess that's actually a lot of stuff. Geez - maybe I'm not close to being done yet.

Yeah man I'm planning on it. Not exactly sure how I'll handle the registration yet - I have property and a business in Houston so I believe I can legally register the car here as well. I've read California's regulations and they are pretty clear - but then again I've talked with Californians who say there are ways... in less than three months I'll be finding out!

I guess it did go from a beater to this... but I sorta feel like it's still a beater? Maybe because it is a daily or maybe because I know what it has been through. I definitely beat on it though. If I could put a fair price on it, I'd sell it for $20K. It's essentially a new car. If I sold it on the market I'd be lucky to get $8K for it. For that reason it makes no sense to sell - same as a custom turbo FX35, lol. Parting it out would be another story but I just couldn't do that. I'd rather stick her in a garage and pull it out in 10 years.

BMW got hit last month in a parking lot (she somehow didn't see it). Had the door panel and quarter replaced, but then I had to wrap it again.

How about non-modded? :) 63 vert, 67k miles. All original. Hoping to pick up a 08+ C6 soon.

Because my wife thought it would be cool to have a lime green BMW and this was a surprise Valentine's day gift.

And the car is heavily modified so a loud color complements it. I've got some CF pieces coming in that should add to the green/black theme.

Plus I didn't want to have the exact same E92 everyone else does. Alpine white, Black grille, BBS replica wheels, etc. So I did this instead.

I'm wrapping my FX candy apple red in a few months when I have a free weekend. Partly to hide all the scratches...

Agreed. I would love to get the FX wrapped in a matte grey if I ever have the money. Would hide all my scratches :)
 
Any chance you have been considering a sale for that 63 vette? I'm looking for a C2 vert.

Sometimes you classic vette guys run in packs too so if you know anybody selling a C2 vert, if I had year choice it would be 67 but that's not a requirement.
