Finally FX 09 + intake FUJITA

I have high hopes with regards to your bargaining techniques.. Please also ask if they CELs are thrown or any issues with the intake... Obviously, power gain is the biggest issue..
Take pics for us.

If it will fit FX 50S I'm ready to buy

Can somebody try to install it on Fx 50S, to make sure that he will have no negative impact on driving performance?

hey Gio he is at the Fujita company right now once they have finished on his he will provide more information. To make sure they work with the FX50 we have to find someone to try it and dyno the car so once the 35 is done we can move on to the 50.

Thank you for useful information. I can offer an acquaintance to bring this admission and test, but it will only be the beginning of 2011 (in January). to this day I'll go crazy from the uncertainty (fit or not)

the fit, it will fit it is just the question of power my friend.

Alright just got back from Fujita and have a few things to announce...

1. They do not have anything made for the 2009+, they worked on a G37 and FX35 (03-08) so they had to completely test fit G37 ones on my car. Almost everything fit, new brackets need to be made. The G37 ones are too short so they are going to redesign a new version 2 especially for our cars.

2. Dyno will be sometime in mid January

3. I feel absolutely no difference low end but high end pulls barely (maybe 1-2hp gain?)

4. SOUND IS WONDERFUL! It really brings out the VQ.

I will be going back in a week or two to have new intakes put in (new ones will use the stock cover and air filters will sit under them for the most air / cold air. The filters were semi warm after running them from Temecula to Irvine through Ortega so it's definitely not sucking up that much hot air. Here are pictures, video later tonight/tmrw.

Nice pics... Looks good for first mock up.. You won't feel anything with < 5hp gain, no matter how good the butt dyno is. Hopefully there is at least 5 with the final set up. The longer tubes with the filters in the box will hopefully help to achieve that.

Will there be enough clearance with the new Strut Bar we are all getting? From the pics, it looks tight.

Any CELs or change in idle?

Will it fit an FX50?

Any ideas on price?

Where's that vid already  ?

i dont have any idea for the strut brace because I don't have it so theres no way I can give you an answer for that but I'll assume it'll clear. The intake is not mounted onto cement so its a little flexible.

no CELs or change in idle.

I have no idea if it will fit FX50 but I am checking with the dealer since I'm going tomorrow.

Price is 30% OFF retail for our group buy, that's set in stone

They are redesigning the whole thing so the air filter actually sits under the plastic piece the brings air in. After driving through the canyon taking it pretty hard the air filters were still luke warm and not hot as I expected them to be...the heat shields might actually restrict the filters from bringing in more air than they can. For our FX35's they might use 3-4" air filters

Thanks for the vid...

I would rather have the heat shields... they will not be restrictive in any way, better than sucking in hot air..

I don't know if there is such a thing as forum etiquette in the matter, but you think we should post this on the org to let others know of the group buy? Just a thought..................
