Finally FX 09 + intake FUJITA

Well if its not available then what did they sell me? Anyway I figured out the problem after we mounted it twice we saw that the passengers side pipe was welded incorrectly. The air sensor faces the wrong direction! Of course its gonna choke up! Anyway spoke to fujita today and theyre gonna issue a ticket so I can send it back and getvit fixed. Too bad cuz it was a perfect fit and was looking nice. Btw I have pics and even a video but cant figure out how to post em on here. If anyone wants to see em or can help me post for others email me or send me a message and ill reply right away. Now lets see what happens from here with fujita

Thanks for the pics... Looks pretty short, likely the G's made to fit the Fx.. Imo, that thing is just sucking in a lot of hot air; I doubt there are any power gains.. Tubes should be longer and the filters need to be shielded from the heat.

+1 ^^^^^^ Real short and needs something to cover it and basically tunnel the outside air to it.... on k&n filter kit it has longer tubes than the fujita has anyone attempted this imma post a link soon

And we've been waiting for the intake to be "finished soon", not to mention coils and camber kits and :frown:

The first time I called they picked up and after I explained they said i had to ship back at my own cost. I refused and explained that it was a manufacturer defect then they said they would issue a return ticket in my email. That was monday. Two days later I called them a bunch of times till I got an answer and again they told me the same thing and took my info all over again. Its now Saturday and I got nothing yet. I could just imagine how long it'll take to get this taken care of if they ever actually send me a return ticket. Pretty frustrating. Who was it that said they worked for them again? Maybe they can help.

first question for ya, can you get a picture up of the intakes you bought. second question, where did you buy it from, i can try to help.

@mrlerry check my previous post those are the pics he took

Thanks lerry. There are two pictures above. I have more that I can email if you need em showing whats wrong with it. I purchased from Fujitaperformance.com

Man that really sucks.. I'm really big on costumer service and I am not forgiving. Just keep calling and refer them to this post and how they are getting a bad name.

I'm sorry that you're going through so much trouble. I work directly with Fujita the company but not the distributor/vendor fujitaperformance. You should get a return because the intake you have is clearly the wrong one. You have a G37 coupe short ram intake. I know this because I have the exact same one, sensors are fine but facing inwards. Passenger side intake has the wrong inlet and the hose adapter needs to be completely changed with another one. Driver side mount does not go anywhere on our car because again, this intake was meant for the G37. Fujitaperformance should take the return because they sold you an intake that is NOT made for the FX35.

Like in the previous posts, I apologize for the long wait but there are redesigned pipes, with sensors located in the correct location as well as the correct bracket locations. I'm rushing with them to push out an intake asap and yes there will be a mechanism that will trap cold/ram air for us =]

ps. I currently run the G37 Coupe intakes because my boxes are used for R&D, notice the driver side bracket and the location of the sensors.
