I was wondering if any 45 owners were able to add HP I did some searching and found you can run a lms intake and ts flash it. but were can i find this intake at or does anyone have one for sale? also how about pulley's and exhaust? i would like to add these things but no one sells them? thanks guys for any imput!

lots of exhausts for the 45, for example - nismo, invidia, hks, etc all fit...

if i'm not mistaken, most exhausts that fit a 35 will fit a 45 too

The exhausts for the 45 is the same for the 35. However there are only a couple true dual exhausts on the market that are bolt on. Invidia and Stillen (may be more but those are what I know).

LMS doesn't make intakes for the 45 anymore. I contacted them and they said they had none in stock, unless something has changed it would be the same.

Jim Wolf Technology has an intake for the 45, its 150 for it shipped (sometimes less depending on who you get it from). I don't have one though, maybe someone with one will chime in.

Weapon R made a couple, but they were one offs, built to order basically. I am unsure if one can be had.

For cheap power, there is the +2 ignition advance. A search will reveal what is required. Seems to work very well on 45s, not so much on 35s.
Intakes can be custom made by a proficeint person. A local shop quoted me 450 I think to custom make a CAI for my 45 out of mandrel bent piping, to date not a single soul has done this.

Tunes are either Technosquare or UpRev. Each has its pros and cons. Technosquare is a flash, UpRev can either be a flash or it can be tuned for optimum A/F ratios and timing. The flash is a no fuss deal whereas the tuning will involve dyno time but will yield the most power.

The 45 isn't mod friendly as the 35 because the aftermarket doesn't seem to recognize the 45s existence lol. Well that and the 35 shares its engine with so many other platforms, which results in more profits.

I always thought the short intakes were a waist of money because they suck in hot air from the engine bay? and the long one went out into the fenders to pick up fresh air. am I right or am I just dumb?lol. and im gonna call the dealer today and ask them if they have a cipher to give me that +2. also this may be a dumb question but can you get the TS flash with the +2 or does it reset your +2?

The dealer will use their computer to perform the +2, I believe its called the CONSULT 3 or they may be using the 4 now lol, I was wrong, the CONSULT II is old now.
Cipher is something we can by from UpRev http://uprev.com/products.php
You can have both +2 and TS Flash. Not sure on the specifics, someone who has it done will chime in.
Everyone with a JWT loves it. I am not sure if I want one yet.

JWT intake, Invidia exhaust, E-fan conversion, Uprev tune, Transgo shift kit. I am also running 295/40's all around which noticeably helped the gearing.

The best bang for the money and noticeable difference would be the TS ecu reflash. It will tie in all your other mods, if you have any. Next would probably be the fan conversion.

would anybody mind explaining to me lms intake and ts flash it is, also what is +2 ignition advance, i am very new to the infiniti and car world but would like to start getting into it i have a 2008 fx 45.

There are whole threads on each of those topics. Search for them in the search bar at the top right of the main page, then you can pose individual and more specific questions in the appropriate threads.

In short:
Intake = more air+sound
Ts flash = tune
+2 timing = specific part of the tune.

I would say for you an Injen intake, unichip programmer, and exhaust would prob be a great start for your 08' The exhausts available might need minor modification depending on what you choose. Look at some garages of some fx45 owners and you can see what some of us have done.
+1 for using the search on the home page, lots if info available

Also Technosquare is no longer in the tuning business, Uprev is pretty awesome though. I tuned my M45 and it really woke her up. That plus intake and exhaust and you're pretty much done with the easy stuff.
