BBK GB feeler thread

That's a good research question, you are running 21's so you can definitely run 15" rotors and your choice of Brakes. If you run 12 or 8 pots on the front and 8 or 6 pots on the rear respectively with 15" rotors front and rear you can have a pretty amazing system. If possible I'd find the biggest rotors you can to fill up those wheels. Do you have a budget?

If you are selling your ride scratch the above.....

Man you guys are relentless! =) bad iphone shots in the rain/dirty car/clean brakes.......shop shots are coming from shop owner w/all scale weights.

awesome, congrats bro, looks hot & I'm sure they stop sooo much better than the oe's... good luck with them

Thanks John, Yeah the sense of confidence is pretty amazing. Never felt too sure about braking on long/steep Seattle hills before, now it's a no doubt scenario.

I spy curbadge in the first pic! Glad I'm not the only one.

^ Damn Stu! Actually they came like that...I THINK its from the tire shop peeling of the "impossible to remove" run flats. I tried matching the paint but its a bitch to get the metallic to look the same in any light.

 That is SICK!

Thanks man!

I don't get that either. They have a pattern but the front rotor pattern is much more "coherent".

Not to scare you, as each manufacturer is different, but are the rotors going in the right direction? The pattern on the outside doesn't matter, it's how the internal vanes are setup for maximum cooling.

My AP Racing Front and Rear slightly differs too. Front is made by AP Racing and Rear rotor is made by DBA (disc brake Australia). Stillen/AP Racing worked with DBA to get the pattern as similar as possible.

I still wish my front rotor was 15" like my rear instead of 14.25".

Did you test your parking brake too?

Looks awesome Lance. Glad you finally got them. Totally worth it, right?

I got mine JBT BBK installed. Takes me about 5 hours. Finish up around 1:00am. Went out on the express way to bed-in the rotors and pads around 1:30 am (nice, the road was deserted). From the looks of it, this BBK should clear 20" stockers without any problem. I will take my 25mm spacer off this evening to confirm.
