He didnt sat anything re. leaving things in the open. How can he be to blame. He was jacked
gotcha. maybe the mount or even the unit was left out. Again, he didnt say, but you're right. Always a good idea to hide the goods. Especially at nightI'm not blaming him at all. I'm just saying personal items should not be left in the car.
From my experience, thieves usually bust inside the car when something they can see inside the car gives them a reason to break inside. Whatever was in his car must of gave them a reason to break inside.
You said your GPS was inside the car right? Did you leave the mount that goes to it out in the open? Seeing a GPS mount or power adapter could also give them another reason to break inside thinking that the GPS to it must somewhere inside.
Sorry to lay this on thick, but by leaving your camera and GPS out in the open, you were practically asking for it. Rule number one of protecting a car from thieves, "hide all valuables and personals from thieves". Better yet don't even leave them in the car. Your just asking for it bro by leaving stuff in your car.

Now onto the alarm situation. The factory alarm only goes off if the alarm is set and someone opens the doors from the inside or outside. By the way when he did open the door by busting it and the alarm went off, the horn only sounds for 50 seconds then shuts off. Which wouldn't be long enough for you to hear it anyways. The only way for the alarm to sound if the window, door, or lock is busted would be for you to have the Infiniti factory alarm impact sensors. This detects any vibrations on the car, and sends a signal to the alarm system to sound the horn. Either that or get an aftermarket alarm.
I had my car window smashed a couple weeks back in Downtown Montreal at 4:00 in the afternoon. There was nothing that they could see, and they got a burberry coat in the trunk![]()
He dint open the door infact the drivers side door is jammed and cannot be opened. When he busted the door the front windows rolled down and he just grabbed everything from the the open windows.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to open the door? Everything seems to be working but I just cant get the door to open.
Just because there is a sign does not mean the hotel is released from liability. My recommendation is to file a liability claim anyway against the hotel. Is there any way for you to prove negligence?
Even a BS negligence proof, and the hotel's insurance carrier will likely pay some $ just to get rid of the claim.
