2nd Gen LED mirror covers installed from Marek @ Extreme Designz

I think the real CF mirrors would go nice with the black on my fx. What do you guys think? If I do these in real cf I'm doing a few other trim pieces in cf too.

Thanks guys going the CF route then

Doing the side vents, foglight trim, and lower door sills.

I'll post up pictures once I get everything done. Damn just thinking about this gets me excited :pinky:lol Definately doing the mirrors first
 
FireOnic3FX when u brought them from ebay how long did it take for u to receive them?? I want to get them for my FX. When I had my M i brought them but never had a chance to put them on so I sold them!!!

Haven't bought them yet. Going to buy them this week. Waiting on a reply back from the seller. I see 7 2nd gen people on eBay bought these already.

To get the mirrors converted to real CF is going to be $100 a mirror.
 
Maybe if I ever receive my mirror covers from Marus then maybe I can possibly get them wrapped in carbon fiber. However I dont think I will ever receive them.
 
Yeah those cf mirrors I posted are off a Mercedes. The ones I'm getting are the ones look like Marus's I'm getting those converted to cf to look like the ones I posted.
 
Where are u getting the mirror covers from? Do they only have 2nd gen mirrors?

As you can see these are the same exact ones Marus was selling. All the same stuff. He even mentioned before these are eBay mirror covers that other sellers offer.

Now after I buy those instead of taking them to a bodyshop to have them painted the same color as my car, I'm shipping them to CarbonFiberElement to have them done in real carbon fiber.

That picture of the carbon fiber mirrors I posted on the previous page was just a reference as to what my mirrors should look like once completed.
