I dont have navigation, have bluetooth but no streaming audio.Any ideas on how I can add streamin audio?

MOVED. Please start your threads in the correct forum divs. ty :iS:

Sorry to tell you but it won't happen no way no how, unless you have the cash to shell out for it. Which would run into thousands.

When the 2nd gen has bluetooth streaming audio, the entire wiring loom behind the dash is different. Along with the hardware and software. Oh and the wiring loom for the bluetooth streaming audio only works on the 8" screen which is only available with the Navigation package. If you don't have Navigation like what you have, that means you got the smaller 7" screen.

So in reality you won't be able to do this .

Try anycom fipo, maybe this might work. It worked for an owner of a 2008-9 ex35 From what I understand, you can use steering wheel controls through Bluetooth and it can be bought for around $20. Ive seen them on the web with a SPRINT logo on them. To find out more just google "anycom Fipo ex35"

Same for me, I don't have Nav package so I purchased the FIPO and works fine (non as stock but good enough).

I have an 09 I just purchased , no nav. I'm going with a directs-nav with bluetooth I'm hoping I can stream music

I was looking for something that will plug into my factory ipod system (like the fipo) and stream bluetooth wirelessly to the car using the cars existing bluetooth system. I am going to try and search for a used FIPO most likely. I've tried FM transmitters before and I'm not a fan :/

wireless bluetooth audio streaming AND wireless charging:

Anybody know if I can use a bluetooth streaming device through any of these connections? I have an 09 no nav with regular bluetooth? What is the 10 pin adapter on top of the a/v inputs for? ymuruqev.jpg

Bump for answers!

Never mind figured it out. Its an iPod interface port. I'm gonna pick up a cable today. Not much of an apple fan but this is whats in 90% of cars nowadays

I just figured out an awesome and simple way to stream music via bluetooth onto the FX35 using the RCA jacks in the center console.

All you need is this bluetooth receiver and a
12V charger to usb in the console to power up the Bluetooth receiver and of course, a smartphone with bluetooth capabilities.

Plug all components into their respective places, connect your phone to the receiver via Bluetooth, set your radio to AUX and stream whatever sounds come out of your phone, whether it be pandora, spotify, youtube, or music from your phone's library!

I plan on posting pics or adding a video tomorrow on all this. The sound is crystal clear and there is no static or interference.

My LG G3 android device was simultaneously connected to the car's bluetooth while I was connected to the receiver and while playing music. I placed a call and the music stopped playing and went straight to placing the call. The phone rang, the other party picked up the phone, we had a conversation and then we ended the call. I was hoping the music would return to playing where it left off, but unfortunately it didn't. I had to press play on my phone and also had to reconnect to the receiver, but that's only a touch of two buttons. So no big deal!

I don't see a 12V car charger adapter included with this item. Also, these things usually sound like crap, but keep us posted, I would love to find a solution like this that sounds good for my '09.

I see you can charge via the USB cable, so that should work for us 2009 guys (Get a 12v cig lighter to USB adapter). Let us know how the sound quality is.

I just got a Kinovo BTC455 I think it's called, pairs up to 2 devices. I still haven't installed it, I am waiting for one more connection I ordered from Amazon but it should be in this week. I read good things about it so hoping for the best

The sound quality is crystal clear! And yes, you'll need a USB 12v charger to plug this in. All this is in my center console.

I've updated the parts needed in my first post to show that you only need the $20 part and a 12v charger which you likely already own.

For $20 this mod is a must do!
