Ahhhh everybody knows Infiniti leather is just as delicate as their paint is. It creases easily, then starts to look like shit if not cared for. I've had the car for almost 5 months and the seats are starting to look dirty, oily, and creased. I've tried every single leather care on the market from Meguiars, PoorBoys, Lexol, Chemical guys, you name it.

Then I came across the Leatherique leather restoration and cleaning system. Basically you just apply the Leatherique rejuvinator oil on the seats then use a hair drier to cause a sauna effect on the leather or you can turn the heat on your seats like what I did. Doing this opens up the leather's micro pores, and let it sit on there for 24-28 hours. After that you come back with the Leatherique Prestine clean and a leather brush/terry cloth and spray and wipe on the seats to remove the rejuvinator oil. After that use a bucket of hot water and wipe all the seats down again.

Seriously this stuff is amazing! It actually removes any cracks and creases in the seats, while removing any dirt and other oily buildup while restoring it's natural oils to the leather thus further preventing any future damage. Basically after leaving it on the seats overnight it lifts dirt up within the leather. This morning when I came out I couldn't believe all the dirt it had lifted to the surface. All of it was laying on top of the seat ready to be cleaned.

I have no before pictures since it was raining on me 2 days ago, but here are some good after pictures:

I forgot to mention that this stuff also brings back the plushness of the leather and cushion padding. The seats are super soft now plus it made the new car smell even stronger than it was before, the smell is overwhelming lol. Good shit:tup:

Oh forgot to mention the prices of the Leatherique products.

Leatherique Prestine Clean $19.99

Leatherique Rejuvinator Oil
$29.99

A little high, but that's the price you pay for commercial grade stuff.

Might take the plunge. Thanks for the review.

But I would REALLY have liked to see how bad your seats looked when you started.

Dew it!

Sorry no before pictures. It's been raining here for the past 4 days. It's hard to get pictures when my car isn't inside the garage.

Hopefully the bucket of dirty water can speak for itself.

No problem guys.

I remember hearing somewhere they use this stuff to restore leather in some Bentley from the 30's. This stuff is commercial grade. People use that over the counter Walmart and Autozone stuff, and all it's doing is making the seat slippery and oily. It doesn't really do anything for the leather. This stuff not only cleans the surface, but it goes down into the micro pores of the leather and lifts the crap out. Definately worth the $50 plus shipping.

I forgot to do the leather shift boot and the leather on the doors. I will tomorrow though and post up before pictures this time haha. You can also do the steering wheel and anything else that's leather cause it leaves no slippery surface.

Since I didn't do a really good step by step process, here is a guy that did one with a whole bunch of pictures:

I'm surpised at those results lol. Those seats on that Chrysler in the pictures looked like crap.

OK so now you completely made up for the lack of "befores"!
That's impressive stuff. Thanks much for the post.

Just curious, can it be used on suede covers (surely not real suede but whatever the heck car manufacturers use). I've got some seats that are leather with suede bolsters and it's difficult to isolate one area from the other.

No don't use it on Suede. On leather and vinyl you can, but not suede cause the rejuvenator oil is a little greasy at first. This stuff is only made for leather surfaces, not cloth type.

For the suede I'd play it safe and use a dedicated suede cleaner.

Thanks! Just ordered mine.

:tup::tup:

Don't forget to remember to apply a light coat over the perforated holes part of the seat that way it doesn't clog it up.
