looks great man, any difference in the exhaust note?

I think it did:smug: Im running a Invidia Gemini setup. Its hard to explain but it has a more pronounced growl to it. There is no rasp to it which is what I want. I cant stand RICER RASP:tongue (2):. The exhaust note is more pronounced. I need to do a sound clip but keep forgetting to do one.:sluggish:

would it be possibly to use the fujita tube with the stillen intake box? I would assume it is possible if you cut the fujita and use the accordion piece and connect to the stillen box. Any thoughts... pointless ? I have the GT spec front engine brace, so I wanted to add some shine and the stillen z-tube doesn't do the trick.

Get a polished z-tube. UTR makes one for the FX (Img from g35driver: http://g35driver.com/forums/attachm...1276450021-chrome-utr-z-tube-popcharger-4.jpg)

Here I used to have a Spectre Performance tube with Stillen CAI

Here is another one. I suggest to get 3"x3" silicone coupler or 3" hump coupler for better connection. I had a 2"x3" and it came off one time.

la_fx35 your set up looked very nice !! I currently have the z-tube installed, if I go with the spectre performance tube will it still have the same benefits as the z-tube...would you say better, would it make the growl of the stillen different, and did you run into any issues with heat??? I'd really like to hear your thoughts about it, i'd like to opt for that option if it has no issues, could you pm me with more details about the exact parts needed to work?

thanks for all the help guys.

This is the 3"x3" silicone coupler I use; http://www.ebay.com/itm/3-76mm-3-Pl...ccessories&hash=item2c5f7fb51e#ht_4933wt_1081

As for if the Spectre sounds any difference from the Stillen Z-tube? I have now clue since I never install the Z-tube that came with my Stillen CAI. As for heat soaked air, I did not have any problem at all. I had an opportunity to speak with a couple of guys that design and manufacture intake. They said that the air travel so quick in there that heat is negligible that they don't even concern of it.

With the stillen intake and z-tube now installed, i've noticed the loss of the hollow stock exhaust tone in lower rpm range? I definitely hear a much more aggressive growl in 3-5 range, but I miss the hollow tone, would the addition of the MD plenum spacer further change the tone?

I noticed the image still showed for G35, M35 and 350Z. But there was a link to the FX35 CAI that Drucula provided. Just wanted to point that out in case anyone was going to order it. But this looks sick...I had a Fujita in my S2000 and it was awesome...loved it.

heres the right link and if i recall no they do not exactly match up right

I had no problems with the install. Everything went together fine with no clearance issues. Here is a picture of the box with the part #
