Easy install, no issues to speak of. Need to do a ECU reset tomorrow. I'm happy witht he results. Next up is a Wire Harness cover. After that comes the Plenum and wire harness cover being powder coated gloss Black Crome with the bolts in bronze. Same color as the intake. Next week comes the yellow SAMCO hose kit for the FX. Should look good when finished in the next month or so.:wink (2):

i might sound dumb for asking this but when i searched the part number you listed it comes up for g35 but not for the FX. S i'm wondering will it work fine for the FX?

I had no problems with the install. Everything went together fine with no clearance issues. Here is a picture of the box with the part #

That filter element will never look as good again. Nice intake! Up to you but I think you could lose the airflow director at the top of the radiator. I've run the Stillen CAI with and without the ducts - no change in mpgs, sound... don't think they do much once you have an open air filter element.

Agree with the harness cover - get to removing those gangly brackets and plastic zip ties. It's already lookin good - gonna get better...

Did it myself, took me about a hour to install. There is alot of OEM intake ducting to take out. Took a little time to Armorall the newly opened up areas. Needed minimum tools to do the job. 2 sockets, screwdriver, pliers. Yes jumbo I took out the duct that is in front of the engine. It just looks funny with nothing in that space. Next week comes my orange Samco hoses for the cooling along with a RARE JDM Hire harness. Last night I painted my coolant reservoir gloss yellow. When the cover gets here the Plenum and wire cover both get powder coated gloss black chrome. The bolts will be yellow or bronze, still debating that part.:sluggish:
