Does the $30 include shipping as well?

I think I will give my 6K Morimotos another chance. I did not give them enough time to color shift. When i switched over to DDM HID fogs, I switched all four bulbs at once.

Congrats jmess61386! retrofit-source accepted your offer of US $30.00. | View order details
he's right....[proof----^

New to IS

I have an 09 fx50 and want to do the fogs and headlights. What is the best setup? Only replace the fogs or do both at the same time or Led's or hid's?

Anyone ever do this projector kit from trs?

theretrofitsource.com/product_info.php?products_id=243[/url]

Thinking about having the projector inside the stock fog.. any suggestions?

Just wanted to chime in again. I put my Morimoto 6K back in the past week and I think they are starting to color shift or did already. I have been running DDMs the past few months. With all the snow on the ground it gave me a better visual of the color of the bulbs. When I had the DDMs in, it gave off slightly greenish tint to it, which I did not like. You could even see the green in pics. The Morimotos are definitely much better quality in color and I will stay with these permanently now. They do match the DDM 6K H8 fog lights too, like everyone else says.

Just place my order from TRS for the BLAZER FOG LIGHT STAGE III KIT with 6000k and Morimoto 6000k D2S :smile (2): I will be doing the instal myself

How about doing LED's for turns / parking ? any suggestions?

Best,
Tom

Hey Tom, if you have adaptive headlights be careful when putting in and taking out the headlight bulbs. If you don't make sure you put the socket back on facing the right way, the AFS off light on the dash will flash saying that the adaptive headlights are seeing an error. This happened to me before when I changed my headlight bulbs. As long as you make sure the socket is on properly, you should gentile.

Just installed my 6000k bulbs and am really happy with the look. Now to order the DDM fog light kit...

I have read a few posts on other forums that say that the ddm's can misfire and have had problems with parking sensors when it rains. That to me is enough not to install them. I want a perfect application plain and simple. $30 vs $170 when you spend 45k on a vehicle really isnt a deal breaker to me imo. Good luck

Hey Guys, I have a question, when replaced stock bulbs with Morimoto recently , I can definitely see one of them is kind of green-ish compared to the other one, I know the bulbs came from 2 different batches because one of them was a replacement for defective (hence I had to put back factory). Is this normal ? Or do I have a defective bulb ?

Hey Guys... have a look at the email from TRS I received today.. $10 off next order..

TRS Customer,

We would like to personally apologize for the longer than expected wait on the delivery of your order. But it has finally shipped!

Because the demand on a handful of our products spiked unexpectedly towards the end of January through the beginning of February coupled with the fact that we had no way of predicting this – we were simply ill prepared and quickly ran out of stock on many items. Reacting as soon as possible wasn’t fast enough – and our customers (you) were forced to wait for their orders to arrive.

The Retrofit Source takes pride in providing the ultimate in customer service. A delay of two days is considered a failure on our end, let alone several weeks. Not cool.

If your project was affected by the delay, we would like to compensate you by offering $10 credit towards any future order.

The coupon code “SlowToShip” is redeemable through our website for $10 off any item.

If there is anything else what so ever we can do to redeem ourselves for the unusually slow service, please do not hesitate to ask. We beg your forgiveness!

Otherwise, if there are any questions on your parts or if you need any assistance with installation – we’re here to help ensure your project’s success 8:30-6:00pm EST.

Thank you for your business, your patience, and your understanding.

^ It will. This came up in another thread (DDM Tuning) and the base should be an exact fit or the notches may need to be trimmed just a little bit to fit. I've been thinking of getting the H11's myself for the past week to upgrade my current H8's.

ughhh so on my way home from class this morning I pull up to the garage and notice my right side headlight is starting to develop a slight flicker effect to them. Guess these Morimoto bulbs are starting to take a crap on me? Impossible that the ballast is going bad because it's a stock Matsushita ballast and those are pretty much bullet proof. I've had the bulbs for about a year and a half now and drive with my headlights on alot. Guess I'm going to have to figure out something else now.
