Around View Camera Mod

Did it myself today. Had not one damn thing to do so figured what the hell why not? lol

Any one think this may have a long term side affect on the camera's, steering wheel angle sensor, etc etc? Or maybe even the wiring since that circuit is no longer receiving a signal with the violet wire disconnected?? Obviously it was meant to only run sometimes and at speeds below 5 mph. Just curious....

thats good gives me some relief knowing it's a reliable mod then.

Yeah today I don't have anything to do lol. Been trying to relax this week since I'm done with school for the semester. Last week was finals week :bomb:
 
Wish I had the around view feature one mine. After the test drive yesterday w/ the fx50 at Herb made me realize how much more options the fx has..
I guess I can say I have a base model w/ awd .. :(

Just did mine.. cut the wire... was giving me a hard time when trying to pull it out... did a quick test run and it works great so far
 
It's actually easy removing the wire you just need to get the needle in the right area to get it pulled out. If your familiar with extracting molex connectors from computer power supply wires it makes it easier.
