What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

No worries! I just looked this up, looks like for an '09, the activation code is now $79. Two months ago when I was looking into this, the code was $149 plus the dealership told me it would be an additional $125 for them to actually install the new software. Seems like a huge upcharge to plug something in and walk away...

I always thought with the 2nd gen you just put the DVD in and it then just downloads the new maps.

I believe this is true on all 2nd Gen 2010+ Infiniti of Norwood told me they charge $140 to load the new maps in, on top of the $79 activation fee... Does anyone know whats actually involved in this work to justify that kind of charge?

I went on to the Infiniti navigation and if three people split the purchase for three of the 2016 maps each person prob would be paying like $ 114 each.

It's not sharing. They sell a package of three so three people can grab a copy.
