What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

Ok, so some of you put systems in your cars to play music at meets and hang outs? If that's the case i understand. I just prefer to keep my music to the people in my car. Still think you should check out some car audio forums

Alot of ppl tell us same things LOL i went those route bc it involved no custom fiberglass and cuttin into doors of the car etc..... I can remove my whole system at home and car is good, its def not for everyone to everyone there own taste imo......i didnt know it would effect my suspension that much but after seeing 3-4 other local fx with heavy music systems and coils they all sag crazy in the rear like mine

I am interested to see your setup...

I talked to a guy about building a custom 6th order bandpass box with a JL 10W7 in it, and in the end decided the money was better spent elsewhere.

I am going to go with the Wicked CAS w/ a JL 10W6V3 and a Stealth 500/1V2. This way later on I can still upgrade my other speakers and have a decent SQ build.

Do also understand the differences between people who simply go SPL, and want to knock people's heads off with noise, and those who go SQL, and want as true a sounding system as possible.

Pulled the rain tray, battery, battery pan, and secondary fuse box. Disassembled and emptied the water out of the fuse box, cleaned corrosion off of relays and fuses in the secondary box, sucked the water and muck out from under the battery, cleared the drain under the battery tray, repaired rain tray windshield seal, cleaned all engine grounding points, put everything back together, STARTED THE CAR, and drank many beers to celebrate my epic victory over the U1000 code.

How long did this take??

Took off the 22"s and put on the all black 20"s don't know if I should get rid of the 22"s. Everyone tells me to keep them... IDK!

Meme, here's a couple pics of my system. One 15 SI Mag being pushed by a kicker 1200 rms amp. I love headroom lol. All other speakers are stock for now till i decide which components i want. It sounds great for now actually cause i keep the bass turned down low on my head unit and use a bass knob to turn the bass up or down when needed. I used to run kicker components, focal components and hertz components, so i do know what quality sound sounds like. Thinking i may go with Morel components in the fx. I actually still have plenty of room for groceries and other things and my box in no way blocks seeing out the back, i can see my rear window fully looking out the rear view mirror. I did the install myself. This is a SQL system as my subwoofer sounds amazing and gets loud when needed

Crawl under the car and take a couple shoots of the rear spring and the upper seat/rings and a couple shoots of the shock as well. I can't see why your installer saying that he afraid the spring will pop out if he raise it three more turns?
