What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

Optimum no rinsed the FX50S and Kim's CX-9. Made it just in time before freezing.

Now contemplating what I can get done tomorrow within a 2-3 hours period....clay and/or seal and/or wax and/or inside vac and clean. Would prefer to do on Kim's car what I do on my car. Not sure how to get things done. Not short of any product as I have all the zaino products/waxes/sealers/etc among other fav wax/sealers. Just to clay/seal my car alone it takes 2-3 hours so not sure what to do.

It would take me at least 3 hours to clay then clean my FX prior to sealing it. But then I would not want to drive it until it was sealed (it's too cool and damp around my place to apply a sealer now)

took the fx in for rust proofing. the fx sat on my driveway for a week. when i drove it there, it smelled like burning wood chips... ( squirrls and mice got in to the engine bay to stay warm). when i drove home after rust proofing, it smelled like burning rust proofing with a hint of wood... blah.

Can you seal just above freezing temp?

It doesn't go on very well in the lower temperatures or high humidity. It can take as long as 2 or 3 hours to dry before you can buff it. You can add a few drops of ZFX that accelerates drying and curing time, but it is still better to do it in warmer weather or a heated garage.
That's why I try to put a couple coats of Zaino on before the cold weather gets here.

i get krown once a year.. it messy but i love the product and it lasts.
Great stuff, good choice. I would only use Krown or Rust Check.

What module is he even talking about?

As other have said, you can replace your bulbs with LED's no problem, I'd venture as far as saying there is more members on here with LED's then regular bulbs, and I have never heard of any problems.
Not sure which module when I went to the dealer two weeks ago they said the reason why the interior lights are not coming on is because
Module or maybe a relay is shot. It was covered under warranty and would have to order it... But the lights are Woking now and I put the LEDs
In bright white on top and blue on the doors and floor board. Oh and the tag light too

So today was an awesome day all my parts came in so that I can start working on my FX creation.
I lifted up the front end so that I could remove the both wheels so. I replaced The fog lamp bulbs with
The xenon HID H8 8000K (BLUE) two match the D2 headlight bulbs. Then I got creative I got 12in long
Yellow LED stripes hard wire them to the turn signal light so when I put on my turn signal that LED would
Work. Now this is the creative part I installed the strips on the inside of the side vents. The ones that some people
Don't like here for some reason which actually inspired me to think outside the box.. It was very tricky because
The vents would only allow and few LEDs to shine through the slot holes. after an hours of beating my head
Against the fender I figured it out. Really wish I could post a few pic to show you all. It looks pretty awesome,
Different and unique. The only bad part is after I got everything back together one of the fog lights didn't Come on.
so I have to break it down in the morning to fix it. LoL another big day tomorrow.......

Had my 22" tires dismounted from the rims to send them off to CYA ( powder coating shop )
Next week. They are going from chrome to Gloss Black. Florida weather hear take a huge toll
On the chrome suck big up keep to maintain...

Would really like to see how the led lit vents turned out. Need both some dusk and night time shots.

Thanks, guys!
So far, this could be my favorite mod.
This week, I'm letting Infiniti wash the car, so we'll see how the headlights' seals hold up.

Any tips on making the headlight plastic look new?
I have 100, 600, and 1200 grit sandpaper.. regular toothpaste, Meguiar's Ultimate Compound, and Meguiar's Polish.
