What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

May want to pickup one of those "battery maintainer" to keep the battery charged if you have access to an AC outlet. For sure the battery will be drained.
I leave my FX parked outside in the winter for as long as 5 weeks without starting it when we go away, and it starts okay when I return.

it depends. My FX basically died - didn't have enough power to unlock - over a 2 week break in 15 degree weather without being started. (parked outside) I would play it safe and get the trickle charger if you have easy access to an outlet where you park and you'll be leaving it for a while

Jordan, seriously, you should be able to leave it as long as you have not tapped into the wiring yourself and left poor connections (eg. poor grounds) or are running hd stereo systems etc..
I have left both my vehicles like that for years and normally never have a problem.
I had a problem once during one other winter , the Dealer could not figure out what would cause a drained battery and I finally figured it out myself. It was the welcome lighting on my FX, the one where the side mirror lights and interior lights come on when you approach the car. This system is supposed to shut down by default (factory setting) if the car is not started for two weeks. Well mine would not shut down so the battery eventually drained after sitting for 5 weeks.
I turned that welcome lighting off and have not had a problem since and I have left it for over 5 weeks ouside in the winter cold. I still am running my original battery.

Same here I leave my for 3 weeks in there not enough juice to unlock the door.

I can see it where there is a lot of extra drain on the battery and altenator due to more powerful lighting and much more powerful music systems that have been installed.

Exactly Wayne, I even had a high power output alternator installed too. It really depends on how much is left over to flow back into the battery when the car is running and keep the battery full.

Finally fixed my exhaust today cost me $60 bucks at a local exhaust shop, basically welded a new pipe and cut off the rusted area.
OMG WHAT A DIFFERENCE, I can't even begin to explain how quiet it is now inside the cabin now, before with the leak my fx sounded like it had straight pipes lol

any guesses?
