What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

Thanks for reminding me that I've been neglecting mine lately. She's filthy and I haven't taken her on a road trip in a while. =(
Thank you !! I hate driving my ride when it's filthy which it was the last few days UGH and OMG since Xmas wow ??!! Time for a detail !!!
I loove roadtrips !!! Blast a kick ass CD and put on the cruise control and I'm set !!!! Going straight North to Lake Placid on I95 for a 5 hour trip is a nice way to spend a few hours .......... I think it's time you go skiiing !!!!
I was so happy to see the sun today, I took the bike out for a jaunt to mitsuwa and along the waterfront. I don't know how much snow can entice me now. :p

After like 3 straight days of crappy , rainy weather ....... the sun finally came out so I got my ride a nice wash and WOW it's nice and shiney now !! Just in time for another ski trip this weekend to Whiteface Mtn in Lake Placid whoohoooooo :smile (2):
Nice! Car looks great! So shiny. Liking the ski racks too. Which did you decide to go with? I think I have Yakimas. Whiteface is awesome! Have fun.

After like 3 straight days of crappy , rainy weather ....... the sun finally came out so I got my ride a nice wash and WOW it's nice and shiney now !! Just in time for another ski trip this weekend to Whiteface Mtn in Lake Placid whoohoooooo :smile (2):

Thank you Chris !! I got the Thule racks instead since I had issues with the delivery after i had ordered the Yakimas but I'm very happy with the Thules !! I haven't been to Whiteface in a few years so I'm very excited to ski there soon :smile (2):

Just got back from a relaxing of spending quality time with my FX.
-Wash and a half assed detail. (its raining out, im not going to do every nook and cranny).
-Installed my 6000k Headlight bulbs
-Tinted my Rear reflectors and 3rd brakelight
I also failed miserably and attempting to install my HID fog lights. I decided it wasnt worth the hassle after I finally decided I would need to take the entire front bumper off. I called a guy who said he would only charge me $45 to put them in and he said I could watch if I wanted to. Sounds far more convenient for me to let this one slide to a pro.
Oh I also found at that the previous owners method for Ipod gateway is actually an Isimple gateway. I found the unit tucked in a precarious place under the steering wheel.
Im going to pull it all out tomorrow and set it up with an AUX input.

Yeah, lol I got a bit lazy when he told me he would do it for only $45.
I will give it a go again tomorrow though I think I just wasnt feeling it today. I am sick and one time I coughed while I was underneath the car and smoked my head on the area right under the wheel well. that hurt... :thumdown:
