I actually prefer a nice hand wash with micro fibers. nothing like running the warm suds over the sexy curves of the FX. I can just feel those sexy curves under my caressing fingers right now.

Got both mirrors for $100 shipped. Ended up getting the complete housing so I can try and utilize the puddle light and see if I can make it work with the FX. search ebay for W221 mirrors because just entering S550 mirrors doesn't really search the years I was looking for.

Awesome job on the headlights! I thought about doing something similar too, but with just two shrouds instead of your three. Those look like the "Apollo" shrouds from The Retrofit Source.

Thanks, it's been pretty easy so far. But now all the detail work begins of molding the shrouds in, so we'll see. The shrouds are actually Gatling Gun shrouds. I like the style and they're the only ones that I can get a mini version of. There isn't any way to fit 3 full size shrouds in there, but I couldn't fit 3 mini's either. So the shrouds on the ends are mini's and the center one is a full sized GG. When I get further along, I'm going to stop by the Retrofit source to get the right size LED rings and then some other LED parts to replace the turn signals.
