I know I know!! This plastic looks cheap!! LOL but I'm reaching the bottom of my savings lol, remember I'm still unemployed :eek.:

I send you a PM but i guess you want to talk here. IF its the remote wire it's fine if they used the wires in the back. The only other reason your system will shut off is, if it's not wired correctly. Do you know how many ohms the subwoofer is? ie 4 ohm, dual 2 ohm, dual 4 ohm? How do they have it wired to the amp? What ohm load is the amp seeing? So if your subwoofer is a dual 2 ohm sub and they have it wired to the amp at 1 ohm, if your amp is a 2 ohm stable amp or 4 ohm stable amp,it would go into protect and shut off. Changed both engine air filters and the cabin filters.

Figured it was a good time to replace them since I just cleaned the throttle bodies.

Just got back from washing the FX inside and out.

Removed my throttle body spacer and replaced the LMS intake tube with the stock intake tube (left the Stillen/K&N cone filter which needs to be cleaned again but didn't have the time today). I'm pretty sure I could actually feel the loss of power and the exhaust note is definitely toned down a bit.
Car was running lean and began to have a rough idle. I am unsure if I want to tune so I removed the parts to restrict airflow and hopefully resolve the idle issue. Seems to be running smoother at idle now, but I think I need to do an idle reset to know for sure. I would have removed the Kinetix plenum instead of the LMS tube but that is a bigger job and didn't have the time. I may put the tube back on - not sure if the Kinetix or LMS tube provide more airflow.
