What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

It was too cold here to do it myself. Went to my local hand wash spot and let them freeze their hands off. =P

I had been so frustrated of clicking & poping noises on FX. Last month took her to dealer, they said front Strust mounts & rear Shock brackets need to be replaced then those will take care the problem. Bought all those parts on infinitipartsusa.com, after installed those freaking noises still there.... suck.......
Last Friday took FX to the shop, replaced front Engine' mounts & tranmission's mount. Guess what??????. The noises are gone.. Everything is solid again..
Just let everyone knows if you have the same problems.. sooo happy...and looooove to drive the FX again....

No paint guys I installed my Kido coilovers. Its just the Kido blue that they sent out to all of us, well except for Ed and Lance who got orange.

Lol, you fell for it. :tongue (2):

Actually, the blue looks nice. Although it's not a perfect match, I think the Kido blue will blend in nicely with the GTSPEC strut bar. Maybe you should trade up to the beefier and shiner GTSPEC :wink (2):

Sure, find me a good deal Andrew and I'll jump on it.:D

Pretty sure my passenger front hub bearing went out. Turns to the right makes a metal on metal sound. To be expected, I've been getting 70k miles per front bearing. Rears haven't been touched... Yet.

Found a permanent solution to the plastic tee for my Manta Ray intake, brass fittings (thanks Lance).

Go to a hardware store and typically in the plumbing section for sinks, you will find brass tee's. Ideal is to buy 1/8 NPT female tee, then one 1/8 hose connector with 1/8 npt male, two 3/8 hose connectors with 1/8 npt males.

I could only find 1/4 npt so the tee is slightly bigger.

1/4 hose connecters instead of the 3/8 will probably work but very snug.

Nice find Ed, that tee looks real beefy. Make sure you get a ABS wheel sensor handy. I bought one from Rockauto. It a really tight fit that I doubt it can be remove without breaking it. Use this coupon code 82626176623143 for a huge 5% saving :smile (2):
