What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

Strapped it down to a Mustang dyno, found we needed to install another bung for the sensor plug =(

Lance you should be fine clipping the O2 sensor to the exhaust tip. Not ideal but if you can't drill a O2 bung, it's a quick fix.

Make sure the bung and plug are stainless...

Tuner specifically wanted an exhaust stream sample directly after the header......yup bung is S.S., sadly enough it is sacrificial as the HFC's will fit into that exact spot.

Fyi, my hfc's brought on a fairly severe rasp between 2-4k pm. I'm still sans resonator but if I can't get rid of the rasp with one then the hfcs are coming off.

I actually got 5% all over and if it was not for the back up camera I would be screwed backing up.

I was also considering this but don't know...would be interested to see what it looks like. I've considered doing 20% or lower on the rear windows, but would need to see it in person first.

jbaker, i've been admiring your fx35 recently. I just bought a 2008 fx35 in diamond graphite, looks just like yours (minus the sick mods). I'd like to start blacking things out, almost exactly what you've done to yours, your fx looks so awesome! i can't get over how sick the black accents work with the dark silver, i absolutely love it! I'd like the first thing to be the tail lights. I see you did clear ones first and then painted them? two questions, where did you get the clear tail lights from? and then did you paint them yourself or is that car paint from a place?

Jbaker doesn't have his fx35 anymore. He traded it in for an FX50. You can buy those clear taillights on eBay, or the pop up here on the classifieds once in a while. Then have a tint shop smoke them

Made the FX a Christmas tree carrier. Boy was that tree heavy I thought it was going to slide off at one point.

Thanks Will!

And Ken, I don't think it needs to be in the air, since the struts would fall out, but I just did with the wheels barely touching the ground, and it fit no problems.
