^^^^ Good job... you got a lot done in a day..

Got the hitch on... mofo installer hit the hitch with a steel hammer to nudge it :mad.:. ended up installing it with the guy .. paid half labor as a result. :ninja:

WTF - Ian, where did you go? Those are some big Rhino Ramps.

MTN_FX -- dang, Gates blue racing belts are pretty pricey compares to their regular stuff.

^^ going to tow a boat?

I'm working on the wife regarding a boat... but as much as I would love one, it's a bit of a money pit.. wouldn't use it enough to justify the cost.. rather charter/rent..

Need it for a bike rack.. going on a cabin trip in up michigan.

Good old Uhaul on Montrose and Cicero.. Nice guys and all, but that installer that chipped the paint on the hitch needs a wack of that hammer to his head.. You should have seen me say "get outta the way and let me do it"..:tonguey:

Pretty easy you just don't want to over tighten them or you could do bearing damage to one of the things that are run by the belts ie altenator, water pump,A/C steering pump.
It's easiest with the bottom plastic engine compartment cover off but it can be done from above without removing anything.
1) Loosen the 14mm bolt in the center of each tensioner pully (A&C in the drawing) just a little
2)Then back off the 14mm tensoiner adjustment bolt (B&D in the drawing) just below each tensioner pulley and pull the old belts off.
3) Install new belts.
4) Tighten both pulley tensioner bolts untill you can only get about a quarter turn twist in the belt.
5) Tighten the center pully 14mm bolt.
6) Done unless belt squeels the tighten up a little more.

Made an appointment to finally get my H&R springs installed on Wednesday for $200. Does anyone think that's too much to pay?

That's an excellent price for spring installation. Are you planning to change out the struts and shocks too? If you around 50K miles, minds as well.

No I'm not planning on changing the struts and shocks yet I'm only at 34k miles as of now.

I went to Norwood Infiniti to get the steering motor replaced. Last week when I went by they told me that a loaner car would be there for me and that I did not have to reserve one. However when I got there they tell me they had no loaners left and I got there 15 minutes after they opened. They told me I had to wait for approximately an hour to have enterprise bring one. I was like I have things to do and the manager being a horrible manager was like "well he can take his car because it's not an emergence". I know that most likely I won't be using this dealer. I'm only going to go there bc they did not properly balanced my tires and they have to fix it. After they fix that I'm going to go to Herb Chambers Infiniti.

Mine goes on tomorrow. I was quoted $85/hour, estimated to take 1 hour per corner.

I changed all 4 shocks struts and springs myself and it only took me and my freind with the right tools 2 hours.
