What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

Is it just a matter of needed closed ended lugs vs the open oem ones? I also have closed ones from my winter setup. Or do you need the new acorn style lugs? Those I only have four spares sitting around.

the originals are acorns from what I remember, the 50 wheels use a short shank style... not sure which pat needed but I guess not acorns if the stock ones don't work

Finally took the plunge and hacked into my spare plenum... No drillers remorse just yet. Pics tomorrow!

thanks for the help guys :) Can always count on iS! We finally got the lugs at an auto accessories store. When mounting the rims... noticed that two different sizes were sent to me (not even staggered, the diameter was diff!). I had promised someone my OEM 20s by today so had no choice but to rock some donuts instead. Dad asks me if this is the new trend, mismatched rims

will update more on the situation after the weekend. Back on campus for brother's graduation, but time warner cut my internet :(

Re: [FX] What did you do to your FX today?

Theres a thread like this on g35nyc and thought it was a pretty neat idea... Basically just talking about what we did to our FX's or EX's today as most of us cant seem to stop playing with it, hehe.

SO! What did you do to your rides today that you would like to share?

Well guess i'll start:

Today, cleaned the k&n cone filter then reoiled it. Worried about overoiling but no CEL so far. Made a big difference, as the filter was extremely dirtyyyyyyy (like completely black)

Great job! I installed some of its exhaust system usually the Flowmaster. I think it is the good exhaust that can be blend in my FX.

Dusted my car from not driving it for a month. i should take for a spin....

O! i also had to wipe off water marks from my kids shooting it with their water guns! My neighbor asked me if the car runs since he hasn't seen me drive it in a while. -_-

Detailed my FX. Used the black magic wax this time (#1 rated consumer report). It applied very smooth and polished very nicely. It doesn't leave a heavy white residue, so when accidentally went over the black plastic it was barely noticeable. I prefer the black magic was over the "ice" and also the regular turtle wax. It's my new favoraite wax! Also tried the Armour all wheel protector. It sprays on like hair spray, and they recommend an hour to dry, kinda weird. There was a little overspray noticeable the black portion of my wheels, but i wiped it with a microfiber cloth. I'll see how it goes.

Haven't done anything to her.. The only thing I being doing is thinking about how will she look when I her it back.. :)

Noticed my tags have been expired since April. That explains why the cops have been tailing me so much lately. On the bright side I'm going to leave work early to go hang out at the dmv on a sunny day. lool.

Haha... My driver's license expired about a month ago on my bday. I had no idea until I tried to get a drink over the weekend they wouldn't serve me. I am 31 and have tons of tattoos. Come on, like I'm under 21... So, I just gave them my concealed firearm permit ordered my damn whiskey. So, I will also be sitting in the DMV tomorrow on my lunch break. Good times.

Last weekend when I was doing my rear bumper fog light, I polished my exhaust pipes!
