Why not look into the KW HLS system. I still believe that would be a better option for you performance wise the airride. You can buy it universal to be mounted on a coilover kit as KW doesn't offer a coilover suspension for the FX. I've tried to arrange something but only option was to lett a kit be made at the manufacturer in germany wich set me beack a little to much for that time so went BC.
 
Looks like a cupping kit. Can't seem to find a price for the universal kit, there are other universal cupping kits out there too. Roberuta is probably one of the originals, umbrella auto design has a VRH (variable Ride Height), Exotic air is coming to market out of San Francisco too.
 
i believe the KW system will be.somewhere around 2.5k for one.axle and around 3K for both front and rear. the main advantage IMO compered to the other systems is that it is hydrolic and the others all air. now i know you have experiance with your airride, but i always hated the constant sound óf the air compessor. this is quite.....constant and very easy to build away you can't see it.

did not know there where so.many alternatives to roberuta.....good to know and curious what you will decide :o

My compressors don't really run unless I use the system. Can go down and back up 1 or twice before it needs to fill. 2 compressors so the tank fills fairly quickly. If I were to change the entire kit I would probably go Air Runner, if I were to get a new set of BCs I would probably give the exotic air a shot. The KW I'm unsure works with the rear oem set up, running true coil on shock in the rear is possible on the G/Z.
 
They do have a setting for the ridget rear suspension we and the G/Z's have. Here is the link: http://www.kw-suspensions.eu/int/kw_hls.php
But can understand you willing to go for the exotic kit as they already have the experiance with this suspension.
True coil on the rear.....what do you mean by that....Like a Mc Pherson setup on the rear as well in stead of ridget...??

i think each car deserves recognition and show pics of each one.... for me being able to see some of the cars in person doens't do justice in pics!
