I know this is a relatively new product and some people were itchin' to see how it works (I know I have!)

Got the PA15-NIS installed today...
....Aaaand it works like a CHARM!:biggrin:
Got the wire to go through inside the center arm-rest so that I have the option to have the ipod hidden or have it hang out outside to use with the armrest completely down...everything within an arm's reach :tongue:.
I can control the music either through the ipod or steering wheel or center console! AND music is in full text display on the screen!
So if any of you are lookin' at possibly installing this product, DO IT.
99% sure it works with ALL ipods, personally tried an old one and relatively new ipod gens on it today (though not sure about the iphone).
It's butter.

where can i order this? i live in ontario , canada , this replaces the sat button right?

hey robb, sorry not sure where you can order this since I had my mechanic install it...I'll try to ask him next time I see him.
Not sure what you mean by the sat button.
I click the Radio button multiple times till it hits the XM stations to get set into ipod mode.

Cost was roughly 220 total which included the part and labor.
Paid a lot more than being able to install it yourself, but I'm essentially a bonafide car newb (nor do I really have the time to really) so I'm OK with the price.

That's a doable price -Really looking for the full hook up. I am also W/O install facilities currently so I'm good with paying a few extra bucks to get it done with a warranty.

Awesome! I posted months ago that I was going to install this, but then my installer said this unit wasn't available (at that time). I checked back multiple times with them and every time it still wasn't available, so I finally gave up/forgot.

I will definitely be giving them a call after the holidays - thanks for the post!!

Santa was good enough to hook me up with one. I am putting it in this week. Planning on using it with the iPhone 3gs. Looking forward to playing it!

Go Santa-I have been busy with other projects but this is still one I def want to do, sounds like a great product. Post your findings/satisfaction ratings!

+1 , love for more feedback and reviews.

It is now installed. Took about an hr for the local specialty shop to put it in and set it up. It sounds great. I have only had a little bit to play with it and I am pretty happy. I am using my iPhone 3gs and it sounds like it belongs there. There is no decline in sound quality, or any hiss like I thought there might be beterrn songs. It is not quieter when I go from radio to iPod. I am a little disappointed that all the steering wheel controls seem to do is change the volume. Everything else is through radio controls unless I set it to be controlled directly through the phone. No more skipping CDs on cold days. I will mess with the setting some more and see if I can get more out of the steering wheel controls.

I am happy with my cherry popping mod. Now for springs...

I too had the PA15-NIS installed inside my center console for around $220 (parts & labor) from an auto-security shop in Central NJ. Because this is an aftermarket product you have to use your existing radio/satellite or CD buttons to operate your iPod. Below is the breakdown of the operating functions for 2003-2008 FXs:

WITH FACTORY SATELLITE: Song/Artist/Playlist information appear on display but track numbers aren't consistent. You have to scroll through radio modes to get to your iPod (Radio AM - Radio FM - SAT - Radio AM - Radio FM - iPod - Radio AM - Radio FM - SAT...) or you can just switch from CD/DVD back to Radio to go from SAT to iPod. Seek buttons on the steering wheel and control unit change tracks.

* Radio Preset #1 = Playlist Folders (use your tuning knob to scroll)
* Radio Preset #2 = Artist Folders (use your tuning knob to scroll)
* Radio Preset #3 = Album Folders (use your tuning knob to scroll)
* Radio Preset #4 = All Songs Folder (use your tuning knob to scroll)
* Radio Preset #5 = All functions controlled directly from the iPod manually
* Radio Preset #6 = Extra RCA AUX (I had it set to control the Genre function)

WITHOUT FACTORY SATELLITE: Song/Artist/Playlist information will NOT appear on the display. You have to scroll through your CD/DVD button to alternate between the CD changer and the iPod. Seek buttons on the steering wheel and control unit change tracks.

* CD Disc #1 = Playlist #1
* CD Disc #2 = Playlist #2
* CD Disc #3 = Playlist #3
* CD Disc #4 = Playlist #4
* CD Disc #5 = All Songs Folder
* CD Disc #6 = All functions controlled from the iPod directly

I just bought the same one from IPODCARPROS.COM. They sell about $140.00 Having mine installed today. Glad fxincali gave it a good review cuz I was kinda worried it would sound like crap.:-)

Hey RAMSTA can you provide me with the exact location where you go it install in Central NJ. I bought this product about two months ago and was contemplating doing the mod myself, but i'm having second thought and I think I would rather have professional help.

How is the volume play thru the PA15-NIS. Do you need to turn the radio volume up more than you normally for playing a cd?
