the GTR wheels are painted, but you'll probably be paying around $600 for a decent job

It's a decal for my school; Susquehanna University...colors are orange and maroon:tup:
I decided to put it there instead of the back windshield like everyone else

opinions? I want to get rid of the chrome...
I was thinking satin black rails with gloss black chrome accents,
or do all the chrome accents and rails in satin black.
obviously want to go as low as possible with the GTRs too...
here's some chops I did...
its a little cold out to do plastidip on the emblems and chrome pieces and Im afraid of overpsray, I would use it just to see if I like it then get it professionally painted...

^^^the third picture the ride height isnt adjusted thats just how I sit with the eibachs, no spacers and killed eibachs haha....

Thoughts? Im leaning towards satin black chrome trims, rails, and emblems.... or gloss black rear emblem, chrome trim, and satin black rails and front emblem....
and maybe switch to satin black license plate frames:wink (2):
I posted it up in the photoshop thread for people to do better chops...so feel free, the originals are in there.

like i said in the other thread, i like, and it looks good i think! and if you step back you cant tell that it was photochopped.
 
i love the look of your GTR's, and i think if you dropped it that low it will look WICKED!!!:tonguey: can't wait for you to get those coilovers
 
It looks good, but I would personally leave it how it is. I think it looks much better with little chrome accents, and I love the brushed rails. I think they look so much better than black rails. Overall I think your car will loose a bit of the classiness, but it will of course still look hot. I bet it would also be more difficult to sell your FX when you are ready with all those pieces painted black, and it would be a cost you would never get back.

yeah I actually send the pictures to my phone to look at them in that resolution, and you can barely tell its chopped and I really like how it looks.

idk because if I do all satin, my grille doesnt go with the theme..I think if I did gloss black chrome trims and rear emblem, then satin black rails and front emblem, that would look best...:tonguey:

Yeah man I want to go as low as I can, I know logan posted up pics on GTRS with the coils but I can see room for more drop in his pics.... I'll just have to worry about the pesky GTspec braces haha

yeah Im mixed, I started blacking stuff out, but theres still chrome there. Sometimes I like how it looks, other times I feel like it doesn't flow well. I'm also not worried about selling the car anymore.:smile (2):
 
I think u should go with what ever your grill is and it tie all in together but the handles should be color matched all of my emblems are gloss black but not the handles i hate those chrome things. Lol if you can color match the door handles u should be good.
