LoL! No worries about that. I wouldn't mind being the guinea pig for the '08 45 crowd again. If it didn't work, I will paypal you the shipping back to Beast.![]()
Sounds like you got it to work on VanFX's FX. Well done White Hair.
In the V1.03 software, there is a Cable Manager utility to update the cable firmware. In that utility folder, there is the latest cable firmware dated Oct 20, 2009. V1.70. After update the cable firmware with the cable manager. The problem of "Unable to identify ECU" problems on the 08 FX35 (US Model) we have tried is no longer there. We were able to adjust the timing successfully and we verified by shutting the car off to check if the +2 stays. And it did.
I did try the latest software but seen nothing about the cable firmware update... awesome find whitehair![]()
Very nice White_Hair!
Glad to share my lucky finding. I am not an expert or someone with extensive knowledge about cars and mechanical stuff. I have learned so much from this forum without contributing much helpful information and I felt I finally have something that I can share and help some members out. :.smile:
Hope this will work on Aiya's FX.
